Perfection. As if these test tube babies or hirsute cavemen know anything about perfection. Besides, the Augments were wiped out centuries ago, so we know how this story ends–or do we?

The Art of War is the first episode (series of missions) in Star Trek Timelines. It contains 15 missions, of which 11 are Away Team Missions and 4 are Ship Battle Missions. Players must complete the first 14, with the final mission played being determined by which faction is supported.

On successful completion, the player receives one of the following crew members, depending on the faction they supported, plus 30,000? Credits.

Storyline

Mission Story
The Wrong Crowd An adult version of Worf's son Alexander has joined the Augments! Repel them from the House of Marktok on Worf's behalf.
We have stopped the Augment raid on the House of Martok and rescued the Marktok family, though the Augments themselves and Alexander have fled. His father, Worf, will know where to go from here...
His Own Man We wore down Alexander and his Augment allies until their ship was too damaged to continue the fight. They have fled, and the House of Martok is safe, but Worf must have many questions...
The Prodigal Son Worf must meet face to face with Alexander in order to learn the truth of his son's new alliance. Enter an Augment colony and find him!
We have located Alexander within a hostile Augment colony and forced a face-to-face meeting with his father, Worf. I am curious to see how thier reunion goes...
Assault and Battery Augment forces have kidnapped a version of Data. Board their ship and rescue the famed android Starfleet officer!
Though the Augment kidnappers escaped, we were able to beam Data off their ship, rescuing him from an attempted kidnapping. Hopefully he can tell us more about their motives...
On Their Heels We have defeated the Augment ship that detected our pursuit, forcing them to retreat. We have remained on course, hoping they will lead us to Doctor Soong...
A Father Figure The Augments plan to capture Doctor Noonian Soong, Data's creator, for reasons unknown. Reach him before the Augments do!
We sought to rescue Doctor Noonian Soong from the Augments, who earlier tried to kidnap Data. We have found not the android's creator, but a different Soong entirely...
Pillage and Plunder The Augments have raided the temporally restored House of Duras and kidnapped B'Etor! Help her sister Lursa stop them.
Although we prevented the majority of the Augments from escaping with important relics of the House of Duras, B'Etor herself was kidnapped. Perhaps her sister Lursa will have an idea of how to proceed...
Beyond the Call Finally, we were able to disable Lursa's ship, preventing her from making any more ill-advised attacks on the Augments who have kidnapped her sister. We must speak with her to ensure she has calmed down...

Stolen Honor Augment agents have robbed the Klingon Empire of valuable cultural artifacts. Gowron has requested your assistance in their return.
The ancient relics from the history of Emperor Kahless are safely in our possession. They are of no value beyond their cultural significance, which begs many questions as to the Augment's interest in stealing them. Regardless, Gowron will be relieved by their return.
Behind Closed Doors The Vulcan T'Pol has accused Gowron of being in league with the Augments and plotting to usurp Emperor Kahless. Find proof of this, if you can.
We have uncovered proof of Gowron's plot to frame the Augments for the assassination of Emperor Kahless, after he has taken the throne. We must stop Gowron from carrying out his plan!
A Logical Response We have rescued T'Pol from Gowron's men, who sought revenge after she informed us of Gowron's plans to assassinate Kahless. We must now hurry to prevent him from succeeding...
Right of Conquest Gowron has escaped with the artifacts of Kahless and plans to use them in a risky bid to usurp the throne. He must be stopped.
Gowron's attempt to usurp the throne of the emperor was unsuccessful, thanks to T'Pol and the actions of my crew. How to address the matter of his punishment is a delicate question.
