Tactician is an occupation which tasked with the planning and execution of military tactics. Lt. Sulu is a starting character with this trait and is often using his skills as Chief of Security to help his allies, since at least one mission straight up requires him to fully 3 star it and thus unlock the next difficulty, you should not dismiss him unless you get a better crew member with the tactician trait.

Tacticians use the base skill of Security to provide a boost in Tactical acts.
