Announcement

New Galaxy Event! [1]

Prologue

  • Scavenger Neelix: "I don't care who you think I am, Captain. My brothers and l have scraped and struggled long enough. The Delta Quadrant bears treasures untold and now that we have a powerful enough ship, they'll all be ours!"
  • Away Team Neelix: "That's right. All you have to do is stay out of our way and you'll be just fine!"
  • Wixiban: "This'll be a caper for the Quadrant to remember, Neelix! Our names will go down in Talaxian history!"
  • Nurse Paris: "I'd love nothing more than to sit back and watch that little Talaxian traitor fumble this all on his own, but we've picked up some concerning communications that he may be after something big — and he might have company!"

Intermission

  • Scavenger Neelix: "What business is my treasure hunt of yours, Captain? You don't know me, it isn't like you're going to supply mine and my people's needs. Go back to your Federation and mind your own business."
  • Ensign Kim: "It's so weird seeing this version of Neelix act so tough, I almost believe him. But some of the stuff he's after is dangerous; some of the other stuff could put him in danger by the type of attention it attracts."
  • Kathryn Janeway: "Not to mention the unrest it could cause throughout the Quadrant. There's already enough hand-wringing about species from other quadrants that now have access coming to bleed the quadrant dry."
  • Choice A
    • Captain: "Is it really so bad to let him have his treasure hunt?"
    • Kathryn Janeway: "His treasure hunt includes resources under the directjurisdiction of less than friendly species and treasures that could set off lingering tensions, as well as some frankly dangerous minerals. This is no harmless scavenger hunt."
  • Choice B
    • Captain: "What do you mean by unrest?"
    • Kathryn Janeway: "There are all manner of fragile political relationships here. Some of these tensions are over resources. His theft of these resources could not only set the quadrant after him, but reignite old hostilities, not to mention outside forces seeking a foothold in this quadrant."
  • Choice C
    • Captain: "Maybe we could find a way to make his treasure hunt not worth it."
    • Entrepreneur Quark: "Fat chance of that happening. The bids alone for some of what he has promised is off the charts in this part of the galaxy."
  • Assistant Kes: "He's a fool, Captain, but he is persistent. I think you should put a stop to him before he gets himself - and the Quadrant - in real trouble."

Epilogue

  • Gul Evek: "Well, Captain, you don't need to worry about that bumbling Talaxian getting this treasure. We'll make good use of it ourselves!"
