Thaw was a Hybrid event which ran from 16:00 (UTC) Thursday, June 22, 2023 to 16:00 (UTC) on Monday, June 26, 2023.
The first phase functions as a Faction Event, with players completing shuttle missions for the Federation, Augments and Section 31.
The second phase was in the form of a Galaxy Event.
This event offered a Special Pack with a guaranteed drop of event featured crew if you spend 650 
on the 10-pack pull.
Thaw was the third of four events in the Temporal Dissonance Mega-Event.

Event Rewards
There are 4 sets of rewards given in the event.
- Solo Ranked Rewards which are given at the end of the event based on your rank in the overall event. These are the top-tier prizes.

Storyline
Announcement
The anomaly crisis proves fertile ground for a new Temporal War to begin. Those with ambition are quickly making connections with those who have the means to travel through time. And amidst it all, a new alliance forms, claiming that they can resolve the anomaly crisis - as long as their needs are met. [1]
Prologue
- Colonel Grat: "So much for the Federation and any commitment they supposedly have to galactic peace. A temporal conflict is brewing right under your noses. What are you all doing about groups like the Suliban as their Cabal moves to attack time itself?"
- Sarin: "There are plenty of others who have stepped up in the Federation's stead in order to set things right. An alliance of several factions, from throughout time, is forming to address the anomaly crisis. With the anomalies gone, much of the temporal threat will disappear as well."
- Silik: "What makes your alliance so worthy of trust? It sounds no better than the Federation to me. insisting that what they do is for everyone's benefit when in actuality, they only seek to improve their own situation."
- Humanoid Figure: "Perhaps you are quick tojudge because those selfish principles are what have always driven you, Silik? Though, I am curious, Captain. Will you be able to see this situation for what it really is?"
Intermission
- Colonel Grat: "Thank you for your efforts, Captain. It is good to see some within the Federation are finally stepping up. Anyone wishing to meddle with time, regardless of their stated intentions, is in dire need of scrutiny."
- Silik: "And I must ask, whose scrutiny should that be? Time travel offers a potential benefit to almost anyone? Who wouldn't want access to it?"
- Sarin: "And yet it is more dangerous than almost any weapon. That is why the alliance seeks to close the anomalies and return the temporally displaced to their own time. So many powerful entities from across time, gathered in one era, is 5 recipe for a soace-time disaster."
- Choice A
- Captain: "Tell me more about the alliance"s activities."
- Sarin: "They are made up of some of the galaxy's brightest minds. They have been studying the anomalies and various forms of time travel in the hopes of resolving the crisis and sending the displaced home."

- Captain: "Just who is in this alliance?"
- Sarin: "The alliance is formed from several factions across space and time. Many individuals, from lconian engineers to Quarren scholars, have banded together to solve the crisis."

- Captain: "Why should we trust this alliance?"
- Sarin: "We cannot continue to wait for your Federation to falter in the face of this anomaly crisis. These are some of the brightest minds in the galaxy, banding together to solve a problem impacting all of us. They are working hard to solve the problem now and deserve to be heard."
- Humanoid Figure: "It would seem the alliance is worth looking into. Wouldn't you agree, Captain? Perhaps you could be of mutual benefit to one another. Though I'd suggest remaining on your guard as well."
Epilogue
- Sarin: "Captain, thank you so much for your assistance. The alliance has benefited a great deal from your efforts. My hope is that ourjoint efforts will not only prevent temporal warfare, but safely return the displaced to their time."
