Announcement
The temporal anomaly crisis has left the Alpha Quadrant with an unexpected problem: the convergence of so many individuals from so many different histories is beginning to blur the past of the current timeline. It’s up to you and your crew to help the galaxy maintain its identity. [1]
Prologue
- Twilight Archer: "Hey, Captain, thanks for answering my hails. To be honest, it feels like I'm a little in over my head here. Trying to remember things is hard enough, but things in this time period are all jumbled. It's hard to get a real sense of what's going on."
- Ensign Taurik: "It is ironic that the very temporal anomalies which brought you here have also brought so many others from alternate timelines, that the history of this timeline itself is becoming diluted in the minds of the people. It is natural you are struggling to make sense of it all."
- Drone Seven of Nine: "Perhaps it would be best to begin with physical artifacts. They are concrete, unchanging. Their fixed nature may in turn allow you to gain a grasp on the present situation."
Intermission
- Twilight Archer: "Impressive work, Captain. Your ability to round up so many rare artifacts would put any Ferengi to shame."
- Ensign Taurik: "The Captain may fit in well among them. I however believe the Dominion to be best equipped to help us align the facts of the present. Their attention to detail is adequate to overcome the phenomenon of historical fact being tinged by those who emerge from conflict victorious "
- Twilight Archer: "I remember the Ferengi, but the Dominion? The Borg? It's a lot to try and process. What are your thoughts, Captain?"
- Choice A
- Captain: "How can we trust the Ferengi to give us genuine information? "
- Twilight Archer: "I admit I'm skeptical too. Maybe I'm just relying on the devil I know here. But I'd like to think that trading in lies can't be good for business."
- Choice B
- Captain: "The Dominion is meticulous, but they prioritize their own, right? "
- Ensign Taurik: "The Founders dispatched the Changelings to learn about what they call 'Solids.' That curiosity leads me to believe they must have learned quite a lot about us."
- Choice C
- Captain: "How can we be sure the Borg haven't assimilated individuals from other timelines? "
- Drone Seven of Nine: "You think so little of the Collective that you do not believe we would know our own makeup?"
- Twilight Archer: "At any rate, I trust your decision, Captain and I'd appreciate whatever you can pull together. It'd be nice to have a firm sense of where we've been to guide the way forward. "
Epilogue
- Drone Seven of Nine: "Respectable effort, Captain. Certainly, your cooperation with the Collective must have demonstrated some of the advantages of the Collective and its stated mission."
- Ensign Taurik: "Being adept at recording the histories of assimilated civilizations is the least the Borg can do, seeing as how their assimilation tactics have led to the extinction of many of those same civilizations "
- Twilight Archer: "Uhh... anyway, Captain, thanks for your help. Hopefully now I can get acclimated to the present, and hopefully avoid running afoul of some inter-faction tensions within in. "
