New Life was a Hybrid event which ran from 16:00 (UTC) Thursday, February 1, 2024 to 16:00 (UTC) on Monday, February 5, 2024.
The first phase functions as a Faction Event, with players completing shuttle missions for the Borg, Dominion and Federation.
The second phase was in the form of a Galaxy Event.
This event offered a Special Pack with a guaranteed drop of event featured crew if you spend 650 
on the 10-pack pull.
New Life was the third of four events in the special 8th Anniversary Mega-Event Convergence 2.

Event Rewards
There are 4 sets of rewards given in the event.
- Solo Ranked Rewards which are given at the end of the event based on your rank in the overall event. These are the top-tier prizes.
- Solo Threshold Rewards which are acquired at each level of displayed Victory Points

- Squadron (Ranked) Rewards which are given at the end of the event based on your squadron's rank in the overall event.

Prologue
- Scorpion Tendi: "Whose stupid idea was it to have a Convergence Day party on the ship? Where we meet our other selvesl? If I have to hear Pirate Tendi talk pirate one more time, I'm gonna explode!"
- Dr. T'Ana: "Whoa there! Still not enough sedatives huhl? Captain, you picked a rough time to join us. As you can see, things are a little chaotic here. Looks like that cube modified Tendi's DNA and now she transforms anytime she's angry."
- Migleemo: "Well now, that sounds like a bit of a pickle now, doesn't it? With the Federation's New Life initiative, they aim to avoid moral quandaries like that of the Tuvix debacle by bringing life forms formed from old crew members before Starfleet Medical to be handled ethically."
- Captain Carol Freeman: "An ethics complaint is just the sort of thing Carol Freeman does NOT need on her personnel records! But I need my budding science officer back too! Captain, think you could give us a hand getting all this sorted?"
Intermission
- Vindicta Mariner: "Lookin' good, Tendi! Heard you put nine members of the security team in sickbay. Make it ten and they'll give you a prize!"
- Migleemo: "Don't listen to her, Tendi, remember what we practiced. Deep breath in, deep breath out. See the millet, be the millet. Count the granules as they fall away like beads of stress. One...two..."
- Captain Carol Freeman: "Of course, this whole New Life edict has made it harder to deal with Vindicta here as well, and she in turn has made it her mission to antagonize Tendi."
- Choice A
- Captain: "How so?"
- Captain Carol Freeman: "As a sentient hologram, she's being given rights the same as any other human being. So until we get explicit approval from Starfleet Medical's Ethics Board, I can't just send her back to the holodeck to be shut off."
- Choice B
- Captain: "I think Tendi is great as a scorpion."
- Vindicta Mariner: "Right? I mean, kid's got more backbone now that she's an invertebrate than she ever did before."
- Choice C
- Captain: "Is 'be the millet' the best Federation psychology has to offer?"
- Migleemo: "Captain, this is a standard visualization exercise. Why, it dates back centuries, to a time when..."
- Captain Carol Freeman: "I know you mentioned you might have found a cure for Tendi's condition, Captain. I know you're a sharp thinker, so if you can manage to pull it off without upsetting this 'New Life' initiative, I'd be truly grateful.
