Exoarchaeologist Mariner is a version of Mariner from the Star Trek: Lower Decks episode "The Stars At Night" (3x10).

In an attempt to find herself, Mariner is transferred to the Independent Archaeologists Guilds. However, despite her adventures to save the Golden Idol, she realizes that she misses Starfleet.
