  • Admiral William T. Riker: "The attack on the Renegade was only an effort to gain control of a Starfleet ship. We've learned the Talarians plan to launch a full-scale attack on Angel I. Without the Renegade, they'll have to rely on their all-male army."

  • Admiral William T. Riker: "The Federation doesn't make a habit of imposing its values on others. But Angel I is now a member of the Federation, and they've made great strides in equality since. Defending them isn't just an obligation, it's the right thing to do."
