A Ticket is required to play Cadet Challenges. Six (6) tickets are given on Cadet Challenges calendar days to use for missions that drop items. Along with customary XP and credits, missions in the Ex Astris, Scientia challenge also give a specified amount of chronitons depending on the mission level as a reward:

• Normal = 15
• Elite = 20
• Epic = 25

After the 6 are used, an option to buy more with dilithium is available. As with direct chroniton refills, the cost of tickets increases every two purchases, making the cumulative cost:

• Flesh and Blood and Talk Less, Smile More have the best drop rates for Science Experiments out of any missions in the game.
