Storyline
Announcement
The temporal anomaly crisis has revived many beloved things, but also those of great evil. John Frederick Paxton has returned, this time intent on building a movement to oppose all interspecies breeding, not just with humans. Work with Kim and T’Pol to crush Paxton’s movement before it even gets started, and ensure the safety of hybrid children and interspecies couples across the galaxy. [1]
Prologue
- Commander T'Pol : "John Frederick Paxton has entered this timeline. He predates the NX-01's encounter with him, but retains the same odious views on humanity's genetic superiority."
- Alternate Harry Kim: "Maybe this is a chance to change those views. This version said he'd never do the things history says he did. Maybe we can catch him and intervene before whatever turning point makes him change his mind."
- Commander T'Pol: "Paxton is lying. He will say anything, do anything, in order to advance his agenda. Even... give life to a child, knowing it would die. We have no proof of his plans yet, but I am certain we will find some if we surveil him carefully."
Intermission
- Alternate Harry Kim: "Commander T'Pol was right. There's no hope for Paxton, not with what he's planning. It's... it's monstrous."
- Commander T'Pol: "Paxton has expanded his views on interbreeding between non-humans and humans to encompass all interspecies breeding. He intends to take action to ensure that it becomes impossible to do so, forever."
- Choice A
- Captain: "How could he possibly do that? Life always finds a way."

- Captain: "That seems proof enough to arrest him. I'll warm up the brig."
- Commander T'Pol: "Paxton is only the head of a incubating snake. We have to destroy his movement in full, or we risk making him look like a martyr."

- Captain: "No one would blame you if you decided this was all too close to home, Commander."
- Commander T'Pol: "I am perfectly able to perform my duties. Not only to my uniform, but to my daughter's memory."
- Alternate Harry Kim: "From what we've seen, Paxton's working with scientists to introduce a series of gene variants, one for every known species that successfully interbred. If they work, interspecies breeding will become impossible--hybrid children won't survive."
- Alternate Harry Kim: "We've got scientists, too. We can be proactive, find a way to nullify Paxton's gene variants, and then expose his plans to the universe. People will turn on him then. They have to."
Epilogue
- Alternate Harry Kim: "We've exposed Paxton's plans. Some of his followers are still supporting him... but most have denounced him, and left him behind. He's ruined, in this timeline, anyway."
- Commander T'Pol: "Additionally, Federation scientists believe that Paxton's gene variants--while devastating in the near term--would have eventually been overcome by evolutionary measures. But, to be sure, they are working on outlawing the variants as part of the eugenics ban."
- Commander T'Pol: "Vulcans are not overly familiar with the concept of grief... and I believe I have been suppressing mine. But you have given me an opportunity to take action against Paxton in Elizabeth's name, and that... has been healing. Thank you, Captain."
