VIP is a points system used to encourage people to spend real money on Star Trek Timelines. VIP points can be gained with every Dilithium purchase, and are arranged in levels with different privileges, such as larger crew limits[1] and the ability to purchase more ship scans and chronitons per day.[2] A higher VIP level gives you more dilithium when you purchase an additional dilithium pack.[3] As of February 2016, the monthly card option gave 150 VIP points per month.[4]
Additionally, on multiple days per month certain Daily Rewards are doubled if you have the specified VIP Level.
