The Risk of Responsibility was a Faction Event beginning Thursday, July 20, 2023 and ending Monday, July 24, 2023. Players could complete shuttle missions for the Dominion, Hirogen and Klingon Empire.

This event offered a Special Pack that had a guaranteed drop of event featured crew if you spend 650 on the 10-pack pull.

Storyline

Announcement

Turmoil within the galaxy has only intensified since Vadic’s violent flight. Changelings from the offshoot sect have once again spread fear and distrust. And attempts to answer the call of duty may lead to the end of it all. ^[1]

Prologue

• Captain Shaw: "It's awfully hard to take orders when you can't be sure the person you're talking to is who they claim to be. Vadic may be gone, but her cohort of Changelings is apparently still hard at work undermining the Federation."
• Handler Worf: "It is not only the Federation they are targeting. Changelings have once again begun employing their deceptive tactics to sow discord within the Empire. Vadic's cohort was only small in number if I recall, so I do not know how they manage to be so many places at once."
• Trader Odo: "Your guess is as good as mine. Try as I did to warn you of their plans for the Federation, it would seem the other Founders and I missed their machinations right beneath our figurative noses. They threaten any Changelings who do not agree to join their cause."
• Captain Shaw: "Well, Captain, it looks like we've all got our work cut out for us. Assuming you are who you claim to be."

Epilogue

• Handler Worf: "Thank you for your assistance, Captain. We could not have sifted the impostors from our ranks without you."
