Storyline
Announcement
Vulcan society is undergoing its own tumultuous period. Even the most stoic couldn’t resist when Vulcans from all over time and space - including Surak himself - are brought to the present. Everything from their balance between emotion and logic to their tumultuous connection to the Romulans is challenged. But there are those who see this period of upheaval as the perfect opportunity to make some waves of their own. [1]
Prologue
- Commander T'Pol: "We have gained much from the connection with and insight of Vulcans from across time and space. it is only natural that there would be those who are dissatisfied with our current way of life."
- T'Les: "Dissatisfaction is one thing, disruption is another. Vulcan society has changed a great deal, even since my time. And though I may not agree with all its changes, I recognize it is no longer mine to shape. There are others, though, who would do well to embrace that mindset."
- V'Las: "I'm surprised that a once dedicated Syrannite would so easily give up on Vulcan society. Are you content to cede our future development to the humans and other so-called allies? Our being here in this time period grants us a unique opportunity we should not squander."
- Commander T'Pol: "Such dangerous, self-righteous sentiments are exactly the sort my mother was referring to. As much as V‘Las spits at the idea of interference by others, we could use your help to help us prevent any disruption to the peaceful integration of our temporal visitors."
Epilogue
- T'Les: "I am impressed, Captain. Your unique perspective coupled with your understanding of Vulcan society must have been paramount in unearthing V'Las's scheme to undermine your Federation. Thank you for your efforts."
- Commander T'Pol: 'His interest in reuniting with the Romulans, especially considering their current situation, is not altogether unwise, but his methods and his motivations are clearly destructive nature."
