But considering I've got another patient from six different timelines, all experiencing the same ailment, as well as two parallel universe patients, I find myself more exhausted than exhilarated.' Prologue
- Sickbay Phlox: "You know, Captain, normally the idea of having the same patient from three disparate timelines would prove an exciting research opportunity for me."
- Sickbay Phlox: "But considering I've got another patient from six different timelines, all experiencing the same ailment, as well as two parallel universe patients, I find myself more exhausted than exhilarated."
- Commander Pollard: "It seems we're all stretched thin. The temporal anomalies were exciting from a scientific standpoint at first; now they've brought with them all manner of medical malady. l have so many patients, I can barely keep them straight. And I can't remember the last time I had a break."
- Away Team T'Ana: "The last 'break' i had was when I got so mad at an idiot from the mirror universe, I snapped a tricorder in half. Eh, damn things are flimsy anyway. Captain, we're struggling out here. Think you and your crew can give us a hand?"
Epilogue
- Siokbay Phlox: "Captain, good to hear from you. Thanks to your efforts, the Vidiians and I believe we may have come up with a new treatment methodology. It's still experimental, but I can't remember the last time I was this close to a major breakthrough! Science truly is an adventure!"
