Storyline
Announcement
The power to control past and present proves far too tempting an offer for many throughout the galaxy. Meanwhile, those promising to resolve the anomaly crisis are quickly revealing the ulterior motives underpinning their efforts. [1]
Prologue
- Commando Shran: "We can drop the "Cold" pretense, Captain. We're at full-blown war here. When Weytahn was suddenly overrun with Vulcans, we thought our supposed allies had gone mad. But it would seem the past itself has changed. Though I'm still not convinced they were completely uninvolved."
- General K'Vagh: "Territory shifts are not the only problem. This so-called alliance has disappeared with the equipment they requested. And now, strange maladies rage throughout the Empire, past and present These temporal agents are the only way we can track that certain Klingons ever existed."
- Damron: "Those maladies will make their way through the galaxy in due time. The Andorian is correct. This is war. But in a time war, the true victors were chosen long ago. Cease your resistance and perhaps you may be offered a place in the new present. Otherwise, prepare for erasure!"
- Zero Hour Archer: "What's the endgame here, Damron? You all tear the fabric of space-time into Swiss cheese in a battle for supremacy? For what? What's left for you? Luckily, no one has to find out. We at Starfleet have a hard timejust lying down and disappearing, don't we, Captain?"
Epilogue
- Damron: "This isn't finished, Starfleet! Your temporal agents cannot be ever—present throughout time, try as they might. Time isn't yours to dictate who can travel through it to when. Someday, your Federation will fall."
- Zero Hour Archer: "Someday, maybe. But if the anomaly crisis and the people it's brought with it have shown me anything, it's that we will definitely rise again."
