Busy Work
After Starfleet takes Ca ptain Freeman to Em her crew members‘ erratic behavior, the crew is assigned busywork to whip them into shape. But when even those failproof assignments go awry, it'll take a savy Captain to bring things back in line.
Details
Busy Work was a Faction Event beginning Thursday, August 18, 2022 and ending Monday, August 22, 2022. Players could complete shuttle missions for the Federation.
This event offered a Special Pack that had a guaranteed drop of event featured crew if you spend 650 
on the 10-pack pull.
Busy Work is the third of four events in the Crafty Mega-Event Lower Decks Edition.

Storyline
Announcement
Following the Cerritos’ near destruction, Captain Freeman is taken to task by Starfleet as a result of her crew members’ erratic behavior, particularly her daughter Mariner’s. She, in turn, decides to accept several menial tasks from Starfleet, both as penance and to instill further discipline in her wayward crew. But with each mundane task encountering its own strange twist, she enlists you to help to keep things in check. [1]
Prologue
- Captain Carol Freeman: "--and this bill for shore leave on Risa!? Oh, Captain, I didn't realize you answered my hail. I was reaching out in hope of guidance from a competent officer such as yourself. Unfortunately, some of our crew can't seem to stay out of trouble, particularly Beckett Mariner."
- Ensign Tendi: "Is this because of the time she tried to replicate roast targ for that Klingon ambassador? Or is it because of her hoarding Romulan ale and stashing it behind the warp core? Or is this about the time she tried to change the color of the nacelles and knocked out power to--""
- Insubordinate Mariner: "Tendi, shut up! You're not helping, you know?"
- Captain Carol Freeman: "Don't blame Tendi for your own shortcomings! Anyway, Captain, I think you can see what I'm dealing with. I've given these crew members a 'special assignment' and I'd appreciate it if you could oversee their efforts and ensure they finally learn some discipline."
Epilogue
- Admiral Owen Paris: "Captain Freeman, I'm incredibly impressed with your crew's efforts. We'd gladly accept their help any time. What a truly exemplary contingent of Starfleet personnel."
- Captain Carol Freeman: "Exemplary? i mean, of course, exemplary is exactly what we strive for on the Cerritos!"
- Ensign Tendi: "We were pretty exemplary, weren't we? Did you see how accurate the ridges were we added? And all those tribbles the Captain made disappear?"
- Insubordinate Mariner: "Ugh, you better get outta here Captain before our excitable Orion ensign says too much. Thanks for your help though."
