Storyline
Announcement
Scientists from Earth have taken an interest in the increased activity beyond its skies, but they aren’t the only ones. It seems a hostile visitor is bound for the planet .. Are you and your crew ready to take them on, and stop them. [1]
Prologue
- 2024 Picard: "We've been keeping a safe distance from Earth to observe without detection by scientists or satellites, but we've become aware of another ship that lacks such discretion."
- 2024 Raffi: "I wouldn't even say a lack of discretion; this ship's racing toward Earth at full speed. We can't even get a reading on it, but it's headed your way, Captain. How about helping them pump the breaks before someone gets hurt?"
- : " "
Intermission
- Carpenter Street Archer: "As much as I hate to admit it, that sure was a rush, huh, Captain? I don't care what anyone from this century says, piloting a starship will always be more fun than driving a car"
- Young Khan: "Driving a car is a far more pleasurable experience when you can do it with some degree of competence. Honestly, to think they allow fools like you to steer the fates of hundreds of thousands when you can't even make sense of a gear shift."
- Choice A: An automobile from past centuries and a starcraft are hardly comparable.
- Young Khan: "And yet I so quickly adapted from automobiles to spacecraft when awakening in the 23rd century. Is a matter of comparability or simply the quality of who is at the helm?"
- Young Khan: "Enough chatter then. The Bird-of-Prey has its sights set on Earth once more. I suggest you put a stop to it once and for all. And give us a good show whilst you're at it, Captain."
- Choice B: Care to see who's the better driver here?
- Young Khan: "Anytime Captain. It would be my please to elucidate the vast difference in skill between the two of us."
- Young Khan: "Enough chatter then. The Bird-of-Prey has its sights set on Earth once more. If you are so committed to its protection, I suggest you put a stop to it once and for all. And give us a good show whilst you're at it, Captain."
- Choice C: So, about those hostile spacecraft...
- 2024 Raffi: "Yes, how about that Bird-of-Prey? We still have no idea why they are headed to Earth in such a hurry."
- Young Khan: "Enough chatter then. The Bird-of-Prey has its sights set on Earth once more. If you are so committed to its protection, I suggest you put a stop to it once and for all. And give us a good show whilst you're at it, Captain."
Epilogue
- 2024 Raffi: "Nice manoeuvring, Captain. Shame that Bird-of-Prey managed to give us the slip. At least Earth seems to be safe for now, so mission accomplished?"
- 2024 Picard: "Indeed, although it is strange for the Romulans, having been so intent on reaching Earth, to suddenly flee with no sign of reinforcements."
- Carpenter Street Archer: "Yeah, I agree. I have a feeling this is far from over. But what were they trying to accomplish? And did anyone catch the model of that Bird-of-Prey? 23rd century. Something's fishy here."
- Young Khan: "You expend so much energy on conferring, and yet the answer is right in front of you."
