Storyline
Announcement
SA conflict rages between ethereal galactic entities, one that threatens to bring those at their behest to war. [1]
Prologue
- Surak Archer: "We need your help, Captain. A battle once relevant mainly to Bajorans has quickly spread. Pah—wraiths, these beings exiled from the wormhole, have begun taking hosts, Bajoran or not. It seems they to stage a new 'Reckoning', whatever the hell that means."
- Pah-Wraith Jake Sisko: "Not a new Reckoning, human. We merely intend to take what was always ours. Your folly was in meddling in matters that did not concern you and so we will gladly take these vessels you have so graciously offered us."
- Katra McCoy: ""No one's offering you aliens a thing. You wanna have your celestial battle, go have it in that wormhole of yours. We've got enough to deal with all these visions and whatnot without your nonsense on top of it."
- Pah-Wraith Jake Sisko: "We will retake the Temple in time. The Prophets send their visions to find their own champions. But they will not prevail. Bajor will soon know a new age. The Age of Kosst Amojan."
Intermission
- Katra McCoy: "I don't know how much more of this I can take. As if having Spock in my head isn't enough, now I gotta deal with wormhole aliens that think they're gods battling it out for world domination or something. I'm too old and too far from retirement for this- How you holding up, Jon?"
- Surak Archer: "I'm right there with you, Doc. My Vulcan stowaway isn't exactly being the clearest communicator, but between his advice and what the Captain found out, I think we may be on the right track. Looks like we were able to avoid any catastrophic battles, but the Pah-wraiths escaped."
- Pah-Wraith Jake Sisko: "Our battle has only begun and our reach will be even greater than ever before. The Prophets can have the temple - we have our sights on a bigger prize."
- Choice A
- Captain: "And what would that be?"
- Pah-Wraith Jake Sisko: "Nothing less than the galaxy itself. And we plan to show it all the hospitality we have been shown. I hope you can handle the heat."
- Choice B
- Captain: "So did you give up on the Prophets? Or are you just sore losers"
- Pah-Wraith Jake Sisko: "We have moved beyond the Prophets. If they desire the Celestial Temple and Bajor so, let them have it. The galaxy will soon be ours."
- Choice C
- Captain: "So there are more of you than we first thought."
- Katra McCoy: "Well isn't that just great? A whole little possessed army spouting off about myths and legends and prophecies and whatnot."
- Surak Archer: "It seems they've found a way to amplify their reach and take on new hosts. But at the very least, if they're coming for us, they'll make it easier to tell apart friend from foe. Let's send the Pah-wraiths back to the Caves of Fire, Captain!"
Epilogue
- Writer Jake Sisko: "Whew, thank you, Captain! I'm still not sure how I ended up halfway to Vulcan, but I'm glad you brought me back."
- Drafted McCoy: "Probably better you don't know, kid. If I could forget what it was like running around with that pain in the neck Vulcan in my head, I would."
