McCoy's Maquis contacts have traced the stolen Enterprise shuttle to Ferenginar. Join Sulu and Uhura on an undercover mission on Ferenginar to locate the missing shuttle and Garth.

Details

Trader Woes is a Faction Event beginning Thursday, December 12, 2019 and ending Monday, December 16, 2019. Players can complete shuttle missions for the Federation, the Ferengi Alliance, or the Maquis. These missions will drop Victory Points, which unlock Threshold Rewards.

This event offers a Special Pack that has a guaranteed drop of event featured crew if you spend 650 on the 10-pack pull.

Trader Woes is the second of 4 events in the Star Trek: The Original Series Mega Event Dreams of Utopia.

Storyline

Announcement

In pursuit of a stolen Enterprise shuttle, tips from the Maquis suggest that it has fallen into the hands of the Ferengi. Join Sulu and Uhura on an undercover away mission to Ferenginar. ^[1]

Prologue

Sulu of the Body: "Captain. I've been asked to inform you that Doctor McCoy's contacts in the Maquis have traced the missing shuttle to Ferenginar. Would you join Lieutenant Uhura and I on an undercover mission to find the shuttle? It would be of great help."
Rescue Uhura: "Hopefully I won't need this phaser, Captain, but the Ferengi are not known for being particularly cordial to women. I need to be prepared for anything."
Sulu of the Body: "We can do this by the book, using Starfleet procedures; we can barter with the Ferengi for information; or, we can work from the shadows with the Maquis. What say you, Captain?"

Epilogue

Sulu of the Body: "Are you Ishka? We have it on good authority that you have a shuttle for sale."
Profitable Ishka: "Shh! Not so loud! Come in here where we can't be overheard. I don't know how you found me, but yes, I have a shuttle for sale to the right buyer and to one who would keep the transaction a secret."
Sulu of the Body: "Madam, I must inform you that we are Starfleet officers. The shuttle in question belongs to the Federation Starship Enterprise. The Federation will have no quarrel with you if you merely return the shuttle to us, and give us any information about the seller's whereabouts."
Profitable Ishka: "Cheated? This is terrible! The seller was a human named Altor. He said something about the planet Meridian. I will offer any assistance to apprehend him, of course. Being the mother of the Grand Nagus allows me certain...advantages. Just say the word! I would have recompense!"
