Storyline
Announcement
Though it has been revealed that Ru’afo and the Son’a now control the Jem’Hadar (thanks to their plentiful supplies of ketracel-white), neither the Federation nor the Dominion yet know what Ru’afo plans to do with his new army. Join the intelligence wings of the Federation, the Romulan Star Empire, and the Cardassian Union to find out. [1]
Prologue
- Mirror Garak: "Well, this doesn't seem the least bit inconvenient, does it? At least when the Jem'Hadar were under the Dominion's command, we had an idea of what they might do. But you all have no idea what Ru'afo's planning, do you?"
- Admiral Ross: "He wouldn't just scoop up a group bred for battle like the Jem'Hadar if he wasn't planning to launch some sort of attack. I've already instructed operatives within Section 31 to look into it, though we wouldn't be opposed if the Obsidian Order chose to assist."
- Polywater Yar: "There's no need to rile up the slithery little Cardassians. My daughter Sela has the Tal'Shiar at her command and they'll dredge up the truth before your little Federation flunkies even figure out where the Son'a are."
- Mirror Garak: "That certainly sounds like a challenge to me. What do you say, Captain?"
Epilogue
- Admiral Ross: "Captain, I'm pleased you chose to stick with the home team. With your assistance, we've managed to obtain a recording from Ru'afo, directed at the Jem'Hadar who have joined him."
- Ru'afo: "Our newest comrades, welcome. Do not worry–those who sought to press and control us will soon taste their own bitter medicine. We Son'a will have our revenge on the Federation, as you Jem'Hadar will have upon the Dominion."
- Ru'afo: "They kept you dependent upon them for so long in order to get ketracel-white. It is time we make them dependent upon it and show them how it feels!"
- Admiral Ross: "Making us dependent on ketracel-white? It's one thing for the Jem'Hadar, who were insidiously bred with a genetic deficiency, but how does he plan to make other races dependent? Looks like the need to unlock the secrets of ketracel-white just became top priority."
