Fusible Crew are capable of combining with crew other than their identical counterparts to create a new crew member of the next rarity up (except in the cases of Mobile Doctor and Fal-tor-pan Spock). The first crew used in this way were Ambassador Neelix and Security Chief Tuvok, who combine to make Tuvix, and five more sets have been found since. Disruptor Beam does not generally announce these fusion crew, but may release hints directing people to experiment with certain characters. The combination of Indignant Seven and Mobile Doctor to make Indulgent Seven was the first to be openly announced by DB, as well as the first set to require a Legendary crew.
