They are defiant as you question them, but a tricorder test finds traces of the poison on their hands - and that it may be impacting them through their skin. Your away team is unable to find the culprit before you are forced to let all the suspects go.

Tasha Yar informs you that reports are coming in suggesting Nausicaans were recently involved in an attack on a Cardassian freighter…and that Nausicaans were defending that freighter! Investigate the incident. Your away team finds that the Nausicaans have been positioning themselves on opposite sides of various criminal incidents — and reaping the rewards. You and Starfleet Intelligence use this knowledge to your advantage to help prevent future crimes. While investigating, your away team is ambushed by a group of Nausicaans and put out of commission.

A group of individuals from a species no one recognizes wanders into a bar on a distant Federation space station. The universal translator can't seem to make out their language either. Your away team is asked to help. Through a variety of methods, your away team gleans that these individuals were abducted from a pre-warp world by Orions, but managed to get free and somehow wound up here. You manage to get them back to their world. Your away team is unable to communicate effectively and the individuals leave in a hurry.

Quark enlists your team to investigate after proprietary holo programs pop up at other establishments. Odo remarks that it's ironic he wants you to investigate the matter when he's so against Starfleet involvement but asks you to do so nonetheless. After assessing both the holosuite programs and the impacted holosuites, your team tracks the pirated software to an Orion holo dealer. They apprehend him and use his methods to implement better security. Your away team is unable to locate the culprits.

Alyssa Ogawa tips your away team off that she heard a group of visitors to Ten Forward discussing what sounded like a lucrative heist - from the catacombs of P'Jem! Your away team rushes to beat the would-be thieves to P'Jem and once they arrive, learns they're actually looking for a piece of lost technology from the Vulcan surveillance center below. You manage to apprehend the would-be thieves. Your away team opens a comm channel to Vulcan, inadvertently tipping off the thieves who were monitoring communications. They launch an attack on your vessel.

Several recent starship crashes have all been tied back to an Orion parts dealer, but when a security team confronts him, he takes off. Find him and bring him in! Your team manages to locate the dealer and capture him after an intense chase through an asteroid belt. You find several stolen parts aboard his vessel, subpar parts he was likely passing off as something better to sell to unwitting customers. Your away team is unable to track down the parts dealer.

Grand Nagus Zek seeks to hire your team. He says all these under-the-table dealings threaten Ferengi business, often in the bar they own. He decides to enact a fine for those who break his patron non-compete clause and enlists you to enforce it. You try to show the Grand Nagus the potential hiccups with this idea, but he won't hear of it. So you begin enacting his new fine, picking specific targets - and quickly, numbers drop at Ferengi bars galaxy-wide. The Nagus quickly changes his tune- Your away team sets to enacting the Nagus' new fine - and quickly find themselves in sickbay.

A holosuite at Quark's malfunctions, leaving a visiting diplomat and his entourage in critical condition. Quark, under the microscope of both Odo and Sisko, begs you and your away team to investigate the cause. After reviewing update logs and security records, your away team finds a group of Orion assassins to have been behind the dangerous holosuite program. You manage to apprehend the assassins and repair the holosuite. While investigating the holosuite, a member of your away team is attacked by a suddenly appearing trance worm.

Quark's has several new and upcoming locations for patrons across the galaxy! Unfortunately, not everyone is excited, including a stretch of the Beta Quadrant where his attempts to open are being sabotaged. He enlists your help. Your team assists in opening a location in that area and finds that many mercenaries and criminals are behind the sabotage, believing Quark to be in the pocket of the Federation. Your away team pays off a local band of pirates to provide protection. Your away team stands guard outside the location, but they are ambushed.

The crime crackdown has received a great deal of pushback, including from vulnerable groups who also rely on discrete meeting spots like bars for safety. B'Elanna reaches out to you to find a way to ensure their best interests are considered. Your away team discusses and proposes other ways to attack the current rise in crime that don't involve taking away the very

privacy that may bejust what certain groups need to get themselves out of a bad situation.

While trying to probe further, your away team interrupts a discussion between two diplomats hoping to broker peace between their long-fighting factions and they are furious that you may be jeopardizing their efforts - and their lives.

Quark asks your team to help him with a little experiment - after a mountain of waivers. He plans to sell drinks targeted at specific clients - like drinks with ketracel white for the Jem'Hadar. But he asks you to help test his drinks first. Your away team tests the proposed drinks on Willing Jem'Hadar and helps Quark finds a satisfying (and safe) drink mixture. While testing different drink recipes, a member of your team has a drink from what Quark later calls a "bad batch" and is sent to sickbay.

Reports of counterfeit latinum lead back to Quark's, but the bar owner insists he would never pass counterfeit latinum. Odo confides in you that for once, he agrees, but putting the screws to Quark may out the actual culprit. He asks for your help. Your security officer makes a show of confronting Quark while other members of your team observe the patrons. They manage to get lucky and catch sight of another Ferengi packing up what looks like latinum in a hurry. It is quickly proven counterfeit. Your away team walks table to table, confronting every patron in the bar, with nothing to show for it but bumps and bruises from some tough customers.

Quark is determined to thwart Odo's constant shapeshifting in order to spy on him and his customers. He enlists your help in preventing the changeling from…changing. Your team crafts a gate for the doors of Ouark's that locks any shapeshifters stepping through into one form until they pass through again. Of course, you can't guarantee Odo won't find some way around it. While attempting to discreetly take biological samples from Odo's office, a coffee mug on the desk shapeshifts into the constable, who confronts you.

Several throughout the galaxy have begun suggesting bars like Quark's should be forced to do away with their private rooms, a move Quark insists would kill his business. Quark asks your away team to help him convince the naysayers. Your away team manages to accumulate data on and prove how more crimes happen openly than those planned in private, though that does cast a new brand of suspicion on Quark's. A member of your away team is attacked while attempting to enter a private room to interview the individuals within.

Bar brawls, ambushes, and other violent encounters have left several bar patrons in serious condition. Many Klingons believe that's because the galactic underbelly has forgotten the value of fighting with honor. They enlist your help in showing them. Your away team enlists several seasoned Klingon warriors to pose as normal patrons who step in when another patron is attacked to even the score. Eventually, word gets around that ambushes and backstabbings maybe paid back in kind. While breaking up a fight, a member of your away team is critically injured.

Engineering Command Quark's goes into lockdown and a security program featuring Gul Dukat activates, demanding latinum for the bar's release. Alexander manages to get a distress call out to you. Your away team is able to use counterfeit latinum they find in Constable Odo's office in order to get the program to deactivate. They lie in wait to find it is B'Etor Duras who comes to retrieve it and apprehend her. Your away team tries to use brute force to escape, but this only activates a trap Dukat set for any who might attempt to escape the old Terok Nor.

A group of pirates celebrating their recent big score begins to dwindle in number with each subsequent visit. Investigate what misfortune may have befallen them - or arisen among them! Your away team investigates, expecting one of them to be picking off the others, but instead finds the rare coins they found to be laced with a poisonous substance- You quarantine the treasure and prepare an antidote. Your away team is unable to find a cause, but members of your team start getting sick.

Kor informs you that several sightings of stolen artifacts from across the galaxy seem to all be in bars and taverns. He asks your away team to keep an eye out and see if they can tie the instances together. By gathering and analyzing data on the incidents, your away team determines that a smuggling ring appears to have cropped up, using bars as their meeting place. When you apprehend them and take in their stolen goods, however, something seems off. Your away team is unable to determine where all the smuggled artifacts have gone.

Medicine Stories of criminals being found dead or injured with poison in their systems circulate throughout the galaxy. Some are pointing the finger at Starfleet as a way to take out those they find unsavory. Worf sends you to investigate. Investigations reveal the poisoned all interacted with the same Dosi trader, who would poison and then steal from criminals under the guise of wanting to make a deal for a valuable item. Your information leads to his arrest. While investigating the poisoning, a member of your away team falls ill and you must rush to get them medical attention.

Several incidents of individuals with no criminal records being the prime suspects in serious crimes thanks to evidence found at the scene of the crime have been reported. Doctor Bashir asks you to investigate. Studying the crimes, your team finds many suspects frequented the same bars. They also find traces of something strange in the DNA evidence - something synthetic, and realize their DNA was obtained at these bars and synthesized to frame them. While investigating these crimes, you are suddenly informed a member of your crew is now under suspicion of committing a similar crime.

Command A series of skirmishes in the Borderlands on the edge of the Empire leaves many worried that something more may be on the horizon. Suspecting the Orion Syndicate, Worf asks your away team to investigate. The Syndicate prove unwilling to speak with you at first. When they finally do, they insist they did not start these conflicts, but that they will be certain to finish them-;They insist the true belligerents are a group of imposters. While eavesdropping on a group of Orions, your away team tips them off to your presence and interest and they attack.

A fight breaks out between three female Klingon warriors in Quark's - one Odo is forced to break up. Odo learns all three learned they were being cheated on by Toral. Not having seen Toral in ages, Odo asks you to investigate. Your team tracks down the Klingon posing as Toral and unravels his scheme to bring himself to power by seeking the Great Houses' most eligible bachelorette- You propose as punishment leaving his three mistresses to deal with him. Odo gladly agrees- Your away team is unable to locate "Toral".
