Along with Seven of Nine, your crew manages to get the Borg to at least share that Species 8472 were trying to remove a few drones who were Augments in their former lives. After that, the Borg resume the standard hostilities.

An unprecedented amount of temporal anomalies have been detected on the outskirts of the Alpha Quadrant. Analysis of the anomalies points to a very specific time period–the Eugenics Wars on Earth! Your crew is tasked with identifying their cause.

On investigation, your away team learns that Species 8472 attempted to use their method of travel via quantum singularity to create temporal anomalies of their own. The anomalies are small and unstable, but you are able to stop their efforts for now.

A Vulcan science vessel signals you for aid when their computers become so damaged, navigation becomes impossible. Just before the problems began, you learn they were passed by a vessel from Species 8472. Aid the Vulcans.

Upon examining their systems, it appears that Species 8472 were after data on how Vulcans, among several species, would handle being augmented with human augment DNA. You repair the vessel and relay the information back to Khan.

Upon arrival, your crew finds that most of what was stolen were embryos and equipment used by Arik Soong for augmentation. Surprisingly, the deadly pathogens stored there were not touched, suggesting that perhaps Roga's men were unaware of them.

Having evaded death, Saul is focused on vengeance for his brother's death. Despite Khan's insistence that he not engage Roga and Species 8472, Saul is out for blood. Out of pity, Khan enlists your crew to intercept and reason with him.

You and your away team manage to intercept Saul's ship and convince him to at least stand down for now, that the threat of Species 8472 may be greater than before. His tensions are still high, and so your security officer is keeping an eye on him.

Laneth and her crew have managed to capture a member of Species 8472 who attacked their vessel. She advises that she kept it alive and in tact for evaluation. But her crew lacks the needed scientific and medical knowledge, so she enlists your aid.

Once your security team manages to sedate the creature, your chief medical officer examines it, extracting samples that support the theory that Species 8472 has indeed been augmented. Following the examination, the creature's fate is left to Laneth.

Having located an abandoned Species 8472 ship, your away team is able to disable its defensive systems. Exploration of the vessel reveals a handful of injections meant to prime the body for alteration, as well as numerous Augment research documents.

Julian Bashir puts out a distress call. He and Dax have managed to slip away from Roga Danar’s men in a shuttlepod, but their escape vessel has stalled out and Roga is intent on capturing the outed stowaways. Find them before he does!

Your away team manages to recover Bashir and Dax before Roga can locate them. Once aboard your vessel, Bashir informs you he has a gift–some much needed intel on the relationship with and augmentation of Species 8472.

A distress call comes in from a nearby science vessel. The science vessel is revealed to have been carrying a handful of preserved Augment embryos and was attacked by some of Roga's men–and members of Species 8472. Rush to their aid!

Your crew rushes to aid the embattled crew. Rather than stay and fight, Roga's men and the Species 8472 ship retreat. You board the vessel to find the embryos gone and many of the crew injured–but alive.
