Diplomacy Weyoun 6 convinces clone 4 of the fallacy in leaving Xindus to die, in spite of the Founders' wishes, and so the two begin leading a countermovement to help Xindus avoid its fate. Put a stop to their interference. While your away team manages to take Weyoun 6 without much of a fight, Weyoun 4 flees into the wilderness with several Avians he had been conspiring with. Your away team pursues and ultimately apprehends him. Your away team easily locates Weyoun 6, though he ends his own life soon after.  Weyoun 4, on the other hand, has conspired with several Avians and made his way into the wilderness, hoping to turn the tides of the conflict in their favor.

As your away team works with the Dominion to maintain Xindus' fate, your security chief informs you of temporal interference coming from a Reptilean ship above the planet's surface. Investigate the interference. The Xindi Reptileans are completely unwilling to communicate with you, leaving your away team the only option of destroying the Reptilean vessel to prevent further interference. The pieces of the ship fall to Xindus' surface as the loop resets. Your away team is unable to make contact with the Reptileans or get a grasp on how they are managing to interfere. Fearing they may hinter the Dominion's plans, your away team engages the Reptilean vessel in battle, only to be overpowered.

Security The Jem'Hadar have been deployed by the Founders to work on a polaron-bomb that could enhance the disruptions in the seismic fissures. Help the Jem'Hadar build and distribute this bomb. You and your crew assist the Jem'Hadar in developing and distributing the polaron bombs to the Reptileans and the Insectoids. You overhear members of the Jem'Hadar suggesting the seismic fissures. Many of your team members insist they are morally opposed to helping build such bombs, especially considering their end purpose.  With the team you have left, you are unable to develop usable polaron bombs.

Diplomacy The Xindi Council gets wind of the attempts by the Dominion to maintain Xindus' ultimate demise and launches a violent attack, saying they alone should have a say in Xindus' second chance at survival. Compromise with the Council. Your away team first intercepts the Xindi Council's attack on the Dominion, aiming to prevent casualties, then commences a dialogue with them, in hopes of reaching a compromise regarding the fate of Xindus. With the Xindi vessels and the Dominion ships waging a fiery battle, it is difficult for your away team to intervene. Even worse, neither side is acknowledging your hails.

Science Borath wishes to conduct an experiment on several key players in the conflict on Xindus, to see which variables might prevent the planet from meeting its eventual end. To that end, he enlists your away team in bringing those key players to him. Your away team, with the help of several Jem'Hadar, manage to seize most of the Insectoids and Reptileans at the heart of the Xindus conflict, as well as a few from other species. Borath is able to run several truncated simulations. The conflicted on Xindus' surface is so heated and fierce, your away team are unable to seize any of the key players, even with the help of the Jem'Hadar. Your crew's only hope is to escape before the loop resets.

Hanok, a commerce minister, asserts that with the resurrected conflict on Xindus, the superior kemocite refining capabilities of the Xindi might be impacted. He wants your crew to obtain some refined kemocite for him before the value skyrockets. Your team manages to find a kemocite refining facility on Xindus. While refining methods still follow the standards of the 21st century, it is of fairly high quality, and so your away team departs to deliver it to Hanok...for a price. Your away team is able to find refined kemocite on the geologically unstable surface of Xindus. What your crew does fine {sic} is hardly worth trading for or selling.

Engineering Donik is tinkering with a holoprogram that simulates the loop playing out on Xindus' surface, extrapolating data from the events as they occur in real time, in order to find a way to change Xindus' fate once and for all. Help him analyze the program. Your away team analyzes data he takes from the simulation and observes the events, changing minor variables in order to see what could save Xindus. The answers aren't coming easily, but little by little, your crew is making progress. Analyzing the simulation proves frustrating. Making the major, obvious changes isn't having the impact Donik would like and your away team is able to offer little in the way of insight. In the end, he shuts the program down.

Security Impatient with efforts to fix the temporal loop and preserve Xindus, Idrin leads a charge to abduct several of the Xindi Avians, so that they might be hunted later at another location. Help Idrin conduct his forced evacuation. Speaking diplomatically at first and ultimately using force, your away team is able to herd many of the Avians aboard several shuttlecrafts, taking them to a Hirogen warship. Though the question of what the end of the day's loop will bring remains... In spite of attempts at both reason and force, the Xindi Avians fiercely avoid your away team as they try to round up the endangered species.

Science Scientific progress in Hirogen culture has stagnated due to their nomadic nature and even if they figure out how to save Xindus, they have no way to end the temporal loop. Help them develop the technology to study and influence temporal anomalies. Your away team makes changes to existing Hirogen technology to give them a start at studying temporal phenomena. Though you can see the spark of inspiration in a few Hirogen minds, most seem uninterested in advancing this technology long-term. Your away team tries to work with the Hirogen, installing basic temporal analysis technology in their ships, but the Hirogen seem both completely clueless and completely disinterested in learning more.

Science Karr, unable to believe that Xindus' fate can be changed, insists that he and Donik focus on preserving as much data on Xindus and the Avians as possible before the loop ceases and Xindus is gone again. Help him gather as much data as possible. Your away team heads to the volatile surface of Xindus and records a vast amount of data about the habitat, the Avians, and how the various species live. Your team manages to make it back to the ship before the explosion. Your away team beams to the surface of Xindus, forever locked in a cycle of destruction, but they are unable to get the necessary data and leave before the explosion erupts, now trapping them in the interminable loop as well.

Medicine The Hirogen have reached the surface of Xindus, ready for a good hunt. They lament, however, that many of the Reptileans they corner commit suicide internally, thus robbing the final thrill of the hunt. Help the Hirogen prevent this premature exit. On studying Reptilean biotechnology, your science officer comes up with an add-on for Hirogen weaponry that will neutralize neural commands to and secretions by the Reptilean suicide gland, rendering it ineffective. The hunt may continue! Many of your crew members pose moral objections to interfering with the Reptileans' suicide glands, saying that if they are to be hunted, they have a right to at least die with dignity. Unable to reach a consensus, your crew fails to find a solution.

Turanj, impatient with all these roundabout attempts to change Xindus' fate, insists that the best way is to just wipe the most aggressive Reptileans and Insectoids from the planet's surface. He enlists your away team to help make that determination. On the surface of Xindus, your away team tracks down those whom past intel dictates are most centrally involved in the destruction of Xindus. The Hirogen chase them down, led by Turanj, with a ravenous gleam in their eyes. Your away team, acting on intel from past temporal loops, pursues those supposedly most connected with Xindus' destruction. But violent tremors and explosions in the distance suggest that maybe this intel was wrong...
