Review Neelix's service record during this period and determine whether his actions were exemplary or not. Your away team is unable to get the Maquis to offer up any theories on why Neelix might have chosen to disappear of his own accord.
All Eyes Upon Him				AND		The Maquis have eyes and ears all over the Alpha Quadrant, and increasingly beyond. Convince them to keep both open for any sign of Neelix.	Your away team has secured promises from the Maquis to keep their eyes and ears open for any sign of Neelix.	Your away team is unable to convince the Maquis to devote any of their limited resources to looking for Neelix. The Maquis believe there are far more important things to do than look for one wayward Talaxian.
Captain of the Val Jean			AND			Chakotay is a respected leader among the Maquis, and might be able to secure additional help in the search for Neelix that the Maquis would otherwise not volunteer. Convince Chakotay to call in some favors.	Your away team successfully convinces several Maquis versions of Chakotay to call in favors among them, and help expand the search for Neelix. Learn what you can about potential ways Neelix might be disguised or otherwise undercover.	Your away team learns several strategies from the Maquis about impersonating someone else that will aid in the search for Neelix.	The Maquis refuse to offer up any of their secrets to your away team, even if it is to help find Neelix.
Unmonitored Channels		OR		OR		The Maquis know how to communicate in ways that cannot be detected by official resources. Convince them to allow you access to these channels in order to listen for any word of Neelix.	Your away team convinces the Maquis to allow you access to their secret communications channels, but you hear no word of Neelix.	The Maquis refuse to allow your away team access to their secret communications channels, even if it would help you find Neelix.

Determine if Neelix made any bad business deals that might have earned him censure from the Ferengi.	Your away team learns that while the Ferengi do not regard Neelix as a particularly good businessman, they don't regard him as a particularly bad one, either. The Grand Proxy Returns	OR					Neelix successfully disguised himself once as a Ferengi, the Grand Proxy. Might he be undercover or hiding using his disguise again? Learn if there have been any sightings of the Grand Proxy.	Your away team cannot find any unaccounted instances of the Grand Proxy appearing.	Your away team is unable to determine whether there might be other, unaccounted versions of the Grand Proxy in the universe.
Too Trusting By Half		AND				As a citizen of the Delta Quadrant, Neelix may not have had much familiarity with the Ferengi. Investigate whether Neelix might have been swindled in some way by the Ferengi.	Your away team learns that Neelix learned much about the Ferengi while impersonating the Grand Proxy, enough to know better than to try and do business with them.	Your away team is turned away by Ferengi authorities, shocked and incensed that you would imply they would ever swindle anyone.
Traditionalist or Ally?				AND		If Neelix openly denounced the Traditionalists or expressed preference for the Alliance, he might have made some Ferengi enemies. Determine where Neelix's sympathies lay.	Your away team learns that, in keeping with the Federation's official position, Neelix supported the Ferengi Alliance over the Traditionalists.
