Images with slash "/" in the name not working

Image names can't be named with "/" in the name. Not sure how to fix. Head for Em/3/Green was named Em-3-Green_Head.png Dlefebvre1701 (talk) 14:43, 6 October 2020 (CDT)

There is no fix for this. Slashes result in a page being considered a subpage by Mediawiki. The only technical solution is to turn subpages off, but that effects other stuff, so it isnt a valid solution. Id strongly suggest using dashes '-' instead of slashes '/' in this case. WIKI Database error editing a page

Getting errors editing pages. A database query error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software.

Category pages not accruing new additions

Not sure how long ago this stopped, but Categories aren't picking up new pages again. As a quick example, last week's event isn't showing up as a Terran Empire Victory, but this obviously affects much more than those. Purging page cache doesn't help, it's not just a display issue. I was curious about this as well, since I was trying to find some info about a page that was missing from categories and didn't seem to exist unless I navigated to the URL manually. I'm not familiar with the inner workings of MediaWiki, but some Google searches point to the job queue being backed up, and an API request says there's 106085 jobs remaining in the queue, which I can only assume is what's causing the lack of category population. Guess if an admin or bureaucrat sees this, maybe try to get tech to poke around in the code and see if something broke. Eljayearthgirl (talk) 00:21, 15 July 2021 (CDT)

This is blocked by this bug report, theoretically, along with other ones. The issue is that more tasks get spawned then can complete in the time the task is allowed to run (per mediawiki, not per settings). Titan^talk 18:24, 9 August 2021 (CDT)

Rios page issue with accent

Is there a fix for accents? The error on that page is very strange. Is there any hope for the many fixes needed here? Broken categories, etc.? Is there an update needed, is there someone out there listening? :) I've posted on the talk page, read some of the other posts and it seems contact is somewhat minimal. Wiki-wide search not working
