Doctor Crusher comes up with a set of placebo vials designed to look like the hypospray injections Mirror Phlox is giving his research subjects. Sneak into the Terran laboratory and switch the hypospray vials.
You and your away team manage to swap the vials without Mirror Phlox noticing. Your team turns over the vials they switched out to Doctor Crusher for further research.
Your team fails to successfully make the switch and Mirror Phlox catches you in the act. Furious, he threatens to inform Emperor Spock, or maybe he'll just give your team a time out in the agony booths.

In order to restrict the movements of the Terran Empire research team, Data has been evaluating methods of disrupting their transporter. However, he needs your away team to beam aboard the Terran vessel first to place a device on the console itself.
Your away team is able to beam aboard the Terran vessel while your own ship is cloaked nearby, put the device in place, and escape before the Terran crew has time to react.
Your away team is caught attempting to beam aboard the Terran vessel and your cloaked ship nearby is discovered. The furious Terrans inform your crew that they'll let Emperor Spock decide your fates–after you've all spent time in the agony booths.

There is much concern surrounding Phlox's experiments, as well as interest in it. Voyager's EMH proposes a middle-of-the-road solution: find a way to get him aboard the Terran vessel on which Phlox is working so he can access the relevant data.
Your away team manages to hack the Terran ship's computer and transfer Voyager's EMH. The Doctor downloads the Terran data stored locally and subsequently alters what is left behind in an attempt to throw the Terrans off-course.
Your away team appears to be successful at hacking the Terran ship's computer, but when they attempt to transfer Voyager's EMH back, the Terrans open a comm channel and thank you for your contribution. They'll be reprogramming him shortly.

Under the guise of security detail, Odo has been passing information back to Starfleet regarding Phlox's experiments. Judging from his reports, now may be a good time to set the research specimens Phlox has "acquired" free.
Taking cues from Odo's observations, your away team manages to rescue the surviving research subjects that Phlox had been holding. They are both grateful and still in shock at what a narrow escape they made from sure death.
Your away team is unable to rescue the surviving research subjects. When one of your team members tries to make contact with Odo, his cover is blown as well.

Troi is horrified by the types of experiments that Phlox is conducting. Still, she expresses a desire to understand. Phlox, for his part, doesn't want the Betazoid near him or his team. Troi enlists your crew to get her close to the research team.
Having created a skilled disguise, your away team manages to sneak Troi aboard the vessel with you. While she later informs you that she was able to read their thoughts, she laments that she still cannot understand the Terran mindset.
Your away team is unable to create a good enough disguise to hide Troi's true identity and thus are unable to get her aboard the Terran vessel, let alone close to Phlox's team.

Captain Janeway, having experience blending two very different crews, steps in, offering to help make the research pairing go more smoothly. While she's meeting with Phlox, slip into his lab and remove some of the equipment.
While Janeway is holding a meeting with Mirror Phlox and his team, your away team manage to make their way into his lab undetected and come away with some interesting pieces of Terran technology.
Your away team is caught trying to slip into Mirror Phlox's laboratory. Phlox is furious, calling out the entire Federation's "efforts" as a ruse.
