Quark contacts your crew in a foul mood–there are too many people refusing to leave the holosuites and unwilling to pay his higher rates. Sisko is unwilling to solve the matter, so he is asking for your help. Do it and he'll pay your crew in praise.

Your security team aides Quark in shuffling many of the holosuite overstayers out without too much trouble, while your engineering team helps him update the holosuites' timing protocols.

Your security team attempts to help Quark, but some of the people they try to remove become violent. Ultimately, al of the holosuites have to be shut down for an hour, leaving Quark complaining about lost business.

The Grand Nagus contacts you asking for your help. Many Ferengi are becoming taken with life in the holosuites. He would like you to coax them out before the Ferengi Alliance does it by pulling the plug on their businesses-permanently.

Your security officers have to use a firm hand, but are able to successfully extricate many of the Ferengi from the holosuites.

Your security officers attempt to help the Ferengi, but have little success, even when trying to confront them with the likelihood of lost latinum.

Rom asks you to collect some data in your investigation of Minuet to help him improve the AI on his brother's holosuites, in an attempt to help him bring in more customers.

There's a great deal of concern over giving Rom anything that might make the current situation worse, but your crew finds a few interesting bits in Minuet's code and agrees to share them with Rom.
|
Though some members of your crew are happy to help Rom out, they can find nothing in their research that doesn't seem like it would make a bad situation worse.

Amidst an already tenuous situation, Quark is accosted by an unhappy customer who accuses him of selling holonovels that contain viruses that can shut down a whole holodeck. He pleads innocent and asks you to help with his defense.
|
Your crew researches the matter and learns that the problem arose from a program Quark himself had bought and resold. While Quark isn't the creator, he did distribute it and will have to suffer the consequences. Fortunately, the problem is fixable.

Your crew tries to look into the matter, but as far as they can tell, this problem originates from Quark and Quark alone.

Starfleet Command enlists your crew in investigating Quark's holosuites, since they are the site of the first reports of personnel refusing to return to the real world, and ensure that no foul play has occured on the part of the bartender.

Much to the Ferengi's annoyance, your crew takes over the holosuites to investigate the matter and is able to verify with a reasonable degree of certainty that no external tampering has occurred. Internal tampering, on the other hand...
|
Your crew attempts to investigate the holosuites, but is intercepted by Quark. Even after he is forced to admit them by Deep Space Nine's Constable, they are unable to confirm or rule out any tampering.

The Worst Kind of Suit

Several reports of injury in otherwise safe holosuites have Quark under a microscope, with a certain "L" word being tossed around. He pleads with you and your crew to figure out what's wrong with the stupid old things.

Your engineering team manages to locate the issue in the holosuites and fix it. The odd thing, however, is that this change to the simulations was made from within the program.
|
Your engineering team spends days working on the holosuites, learning nothing useful. Just as they believe they are getting close, the holosuite seems to activate itself, placing the crew members in a skydive simulation--without parachutes!
