Quark enlists your away team to gather as much information about the Sword and Shroud of Kahless as you can, including dimensions, what material it was made from, every detail you can find. He assures you this is to help with the investigation.

You manage to get a fair bit of information regarding the Sword, but when you return to talk to Quark, you overhear him discussing manufacturing replica Swords with another Ferengi.
|
Your away team gathers as much intel as they cann, but Quark is disappointed, insisting he can't make convincing replica Swords on the meager information you've brought him.

An Unforgettable Opportunity

Quark sees the theft of the Sword as a golden opportunity. But when he goes to implement his first idea - a betting pool on who stole the Sword - he finds he's been beaten to the punch. He sends you to investigate, certain it must be a vital clue.

Your away team finds the individuals running the betting pool are the Duras sisters. Your away team interrogates them, but learns they don't have the sword. Quark demands a reward for his help, though his lead did not result in finding the Sword.

Your away team begins to investigate the betting pool, but all the participants go silent and information on the betting pool dries up soon after.

One of the cultural figures selected to attend Sahil's event has been accused of being a potential Sword thief. After threats against the individual arise, Nog enlists your help.
|
While an investigation yields proof that the figure could not have been involved, your away team provides them extra security, just to be on the safe side.
|
Your away team investigates the allegations, but while they investigate, an attempt is made on the figure's life, leaving him in serious, but stable, condition.

Paid in Glory

Quark gets word of a rich patron hiring an intrepid group of explorers to retrieve a priceless artifact from a remote mountain. Might this be the Sword? He sends your team to investigate.
|
Major interference around the mountain forces your team to scale it on foot. At the top is not the Sword of Kahless, but an ancient Hirogen weapon. Quark is ready to redeem the reward, but your team elects simply to give it to the Hirogen.
|
Your away team attempts to scale the mountain, which is surrounded by interference, preventing transport, but conditions are too harsh and you team is forced to retreat.

Picking Your Poison

When Quark presses too hard for more information on the Sword from the wrong smuggler, they inject him with a painful poison. Rom asks your away team to help treat him.
|
Your away team retrieves the ingredients for the antidote from a nearby planet and gives the synthesized treatment to Quark. Once the color returns to his face, he snaps that he's going to start charging that smuggler double.

Your away team attempts to find the ingredients for the antidote, but is unable to find everything required.

Rom has an idea: to create a holoprogram that simulates possible scenarios that led to the theft of the Sword of Kahless. He asks your away team's help in designing the program.

Your away team helps Rom design the program as well as compile all the clues gathered so far. After you meet with several Starfleet officials to try the program and see if you gather any clues, you exit to find Quark is selling tickets.
|
Your away team has few leads and little information for Rom, making the content of the program nothing more than fiction.

Too Valuable to Pass Up

Intent on cashing in on Sahil's celebration, Quark has been scrambling to commission busts of all the cultural figures to sell. However, when the first few buyers get sick, Quark enlists your away team to get him out of hot water.

Your away team assesses the busts and learns the clay Quark used contains a slow-acting toxin. Your team synthesizes a treatment and retrieves the other busts.

Your away team evaluates the busts, but can find no issues. Meanwhile, more and more angry customers are lining up at Quark's

Pel suggests that an artifact as renowned as the Sword of Kahless would fetch a fair bit of latinum. She sends your away team to follow up on any unusual windfalls of wealth.

Your away team investigates several sudden profits and though none lead to the Sword, they do lead to the recovery of other stolen objects.
|
Getting so close to the sudden good fortunes of several shady individuals places your away team in danger, and they are forced to retreat.
