A Ferengi ship is entertaining offers for their supply of Stasis Boxes, and have reached out to your ship for any interest. If your away team can manage the negotiations, this may be an abundant source of Boxes. The away team successfully comes to terms with the DaiMon, and out-maneuvers everyone else at the table. They have a new supply of boxes, and the DaiMon has better lined pockets. The away team returns with the Ferengi cargo, but paying a high price. Unfortunately none of them confirmed if the boxes had any contents, and now you proudly own a large stash of empty Stasis Boxes.

They say only a Stasis Box can find another Stasis Box. Work to develop new technologies and systems to challenge that assumption. Your engineers create new scanners that show promise in testing, able to pick up the radiation from Stasis Box containment. Now to equip these onto your shuttles and ready the away teams. Engineering can't find the particular wavelengths they need to track these Boxes at any meaningful distance. The away team will still need to keep using Stasis Boxes for tracking down leads.

Your science team hypothesizes that you may find more boxes near the boundaries of Slaver space. Now they just need to figure out where that may be, and an away team on the surface may have a better reference point. The away team produces new star charts that help clarify the borders of Slaver space and better isolate your efforts. The away team struggles to come to a consensus of the time the Slavers ruled the galaxy. They can't determine the position of the planets or boundaries of Slaver territory. Further work is needed, but time is of the essence.

Since searching for a Stasis Box is only possible with a Stasis Box, the theory is that it may be easier to have limited shuttles gather as much as they can at a time. Develop new technologies to transport more Stasis Boxes at once Your engineers come up with entire new layouts for shuttles, protecting the crew and increasing the boxes in cargo without disturbing their contents. While your engineers come up with new plans for shuttles, your security team points out they had to remove the weapon system. While having more storage is great, the away teams must be able to protect their precious cargo fro attackers.

Your communications team intercepted conversations around black market purchasing of the boxes, foregoing Federation regulations. Send a team to stop the market, and seize any Stasis Boxes they find. Your away team tracks down the black market sales site, making several arrests and seizing the remaining boxes before returning. Vash is quick to point out to you that her market plans are all above board and fully certified. The away team manages to find and disrupt the market, but is unable to make arrests or find any of the boxes in the ensuing scrum. The coordinates are dead, and you direct your away team to begin looking elsewhere.

Your crew detect a signal of a distressed Federation cruiser fleeing Klingon vessels. You can't make out the caller, but they promise their "quite interesting" cargo if you protect them from the attackers. An away team manages to assist the cruiser, and the Klingons break away. The pilot does have a small number of Stasis Boxes, but refuses to say how they got them before ultimately turning them over. The away team assists the cruiser, and makes contact with the pilot. A certain Cyrano Jones eagerly responds and offers to thank the security team with engineered tribbles. They decline, returning without any Stasis Boxes or additional troubles.

One of your Stasis Boxes held a Slaver comptuer which gave you a series of coordinates. Send an away team with the computer to investigate and look for more boxes. Your away team manages to find a number of additional Stasis Boxes by following the computer's instructions. However, the computer refuses to provide any additional information. The computer was attempting to misdirect the away team, and it took days for them to figure out the subterfuge. The away team has returned, and the computer's since been locked away.

Every faction seems to have found their own supply of Stasis Boxes, and are getting in on the growing trade of these artifacts. A Klingon Commander is taking on all offers for winner-take-all duels of his growing supply of boxes. An away team, with a small wager, manages to best the Commander and take back a tiny trove of Stasis Boxes for the Federation. Your away team goes to wager their Boxes, but comes back empty handed and with a scheduled trip to the medical bay.

While looking for these Slaver boxes is feeling like flailing in the dark for your crew, the resources of logical think-tanks on Vulcan may proove more beneficial. Send an away team to request assistance. The Vulcans agree to assist, and begin to analyze the Stasis Box appearances for patterns and reoccurrences that your logic didn't account for. The Vulcans you reach out to do not believe this hunt to be a logical expenditure of their resources.

No one's checked if Stasis Boxes could be outputing anything harmful to modern life. Have an away team take some boxes to an outside lab to analyze. The away team returns with generally positive results, and that [sic] the only ill effects could be avoided with regular crew rotations. More study is always helpful, but these early findings are good news. The away team doesn't reach any new conclusive data, and needs to spend more time analyzing the Stasis Boxes before they can close the investigation. For now, everyone stands a bit further back from the samples.

Waiting for your ship's Stasis Box supply to detect new ones is prooving inefficient. Send out shuttles with their own boxes to have multiple points of detection along your routes. The away team eagerly returns with new coordinates and multiple possible points of interest. The away team returns from their distant deployment, but found nothing on their scanners.

Your Stasis Boxes have detected others within recent systems, held at local waystations. See if you can't barter for any exisiting boxes or track down additional leads. Your away team brings back new Stasis Boxes, guaranteeing they purchased it at a fair price. The invoice may disagree, but who knows what's a fair price for the unknown contents? The away team fails to come to terms with the seller, who eventually says they sold it to a different interested party. Unfortunately that box, and whatever it held, is out of your hands now.

A Betazed cruiser reached out to you, offering a possible Static [sic] Box location on an inhospitable planet. They don't have the resources to investigate, but will aide an investigation in exchange for a reward. The dispatched away team successfully managed to navigate the hostile surface and retrieve a Stasis Box with no losses. The Betazed's information proved fruitless. Despite an extended time on the surface, the away team found no evidence of Stasis Boxes.

A pirate ship is berating a local system with unseen technology that bears similarity to Slaver artifacts. Investigate the reports and aprehend the pirates The away team outmaneuvers the pirates, and captures the technology. They had managed to find a number of Stasis Boxes, and found scanning equipment to detect vulnerable craft. The away team confiscates it and their unopened Stasis Boxes. Your away team proves no match for the pirate ship, who seems to always know where the shuttle would strike from next. Your away team returns empty-handed, and new tactics will be needed to stop the pirates.
