Doctor Reyga offers his expertise to neutralize the subspace storms, but worries that previous attempts to undermine his work may happen again. Section 31 requests you provide a protection detail to defend against sabotage. With your crew visibly stationed around Doctor Reyga, he feels much more comfortable to work without fear. His efforts at controlling the storms show results much more quickly than he ever expected. DIALOGUE FAIL

Airiam's augmentations help her to process information faster than most others, but Section 31 believes she could be more efficient without her memories taking up storage space. They request that you secure her memories to free up resources. Your away team manages to overcome Airiam's initial resistance to temporarily losing her memories by demonstrating the stability of the data storage units. With Airiam's history removed, she becomes a remarkable computational resource. Airiam insists that her memories are what make her unique and refuses to part with them, even temporarily. Section 31 briefly considers a more drastic approach, but your team convinces them to back off.

Leland insists that exploding the Q imprisonment device would be the simplest method of covering up the project. Several members of the Trill science team warn the results could be devastating, and ask your crew to mediate. Your crew argues to Leland that violently destroying the project would eliminate any valuable data that Section 31 could use in the future. He acquiesces to their reasons, after seeing the long-term benefits. Leland aggressively rejects your crew's arguments and starts to set a bomb when he suddenly disappears in a flash of white light. It seems the Q are mysteriously invested in letting the crisis play out differently.

Jadzia Dax is naturally preoccupied with getting her family to safety before she's able to assist with shutting down Section 31's project. If your crew can evacuate them, she'd be able to focus on the job. Your crew locates Jadiza's family and puts them on a shuttle designed to withstand the subspace storms. When they arrive at the safety of your ship, Dax transmits her deepest thanks. DIALOGUE FAIL

Luther Sloan provides a list of sleeper agents in the sector that can be called in for assistance. He requests that you contact these agents, but only through encrypted means. Your crew establishes encrypted communications with every member on the list. They each promise to come to Trill and assist with the mission. Your crew's encryption is easily broken, revealing the status of each agent to hostile forces. Some of them are arrested, while some never even answer the hail.

Shutting down the project means that crucial research data may be lost. Leland orders that the information be preserved for future development without revealing that it's been downloaded. While the Trill science team is distracted with saving the planet, your crew manages to collect critical data that will allow for the project to be replicated in the future. DIALOGUE FAIL

Section 31 recruits Leah Brahms to assist in healing the subspace storms, but she insists on having a completely separate workstation from the rest of the science team. Construct her laboratory with the equipment she needs as quickly as possible. Working around the clock, your crew manages to build facilities that meets Doctor Brahms' expectations. The work is impressive enough that she even gives them a passing compliment. Delays in the construction of the laboratory and trouble finding the right equipment means that your team isn't ready when Doctor Brahms arrives. She agrees to work alongside the other scientists, but personality conflicts slow down progress.

Several NCIA-93 ships have been stashed in strategic locations, and kept hidden by chameleon holograms. Section 31 requests that you retrieve these ships as they could be useful for transporting new scientists. Your crew lock on to a frequency that the ships emit when in hiding, and recover each vessel. Section 31 requests that you delete all records of how you found them, but thanks you nonetheless. Philppa Georgiou believes that the scientists on Trill are exhausted from working long hours and that it's affecting the speed of their shut down efforts. She requests that you send down a team with stimulants to reinvigorate them. Happy to be once again working alongside Airiam, Sylvia Tilly has devised a method of shielding vulnerable populations of Trill from the storms. She requests your crew retrieve a large amount of osmium so she can fabricate the shields. Section 31 believes shuttling scientists to Trill may take too long and time is of the essence. Certainly, the Q are watching the crisis unfold, so your team might be able to ask them to teleport people with a snap. Your crew broadcasts requests for help to any Q who will answer, and are pleased when Human Q arrives. Section 31 has attempted to recruit Nella Daren in the past, but she's always insisted on staying independent in her research. Perhaps now with the crisis around Trill, your crew will succeed at convincing her. Recent events have made Obrist skeptical of aiding the Federation, especially with problems of their own making. Section 31 sees his expertise in space-time anomalies as invaluable and needs you to encourage his cooperation. After researching his background, your away team describes to Obrist how many families are in danger from the storms. This appeal to his emotions succeeds and he accompanies the team back to Trill. She's arrested and teleported to a nearby Section 31 ship for interrogation. DIALOGUE FAIL
