Your away team finds out the crew member quit in the middle of a holo bat'leth match against one of the Klingons and now the crew demands he finish - in real life. You manage to persuade the Klingons to do a virtual rematch instead.

While investigating one of the suspect copies, your away team becomes trapped in a holosuite and has to call for outside help.

By analyzing playbacks of play sessions, your away team learns that some factions are using the game to find the strongest fighters. Still, it shouldn't result in real injuries. You find a security protocol flaw and repair it.

Your away team's attempts to stop the Bird—of—Prey angers the Klingon crew and they attack your ship.

Your away team traces these particular copies back to the Duras Sisters, who began making their own (poorly made) copies in order to increase profit. You put out a warning and track down as many defective copies as possible.

While attempting to repair a security loophole, a member of your away team is shocked and sent to sickbay.

Using data you retrieve from those recently connected to the individual, you find they were next bound for a space station on the outskirts of the Alpha Quadrant, but never arrived. You find them crashed on an uninhabited planet, injured, but alive.
