Command Diplomacy A distress call from Quark's reveals that a conflict between a band of Hur’q and a group of Klingons who fought in the Dominion War has gotten so violent, security struggled to get them into the brig. Security asks you to transport them. Your security team struggles with both the Hur'q and Klingon belligerents, finally delivering the Klingons back to a Klingon command vessel to be dealt with. The Hur'q are taken to a Federation penal colony for the time being. Your security team struggles with transporting the prisoners, ultimately having to make a stop when they almost seize control of the ship.

Command Chakotay is researching the history of the Hur'q and how their behavior impacted the culture and development of worlds they invaded. His research is halted when he learns a database on Federation worlds was hacked. He asks your crew to investigate. Your crew investigates and finds the hack was from an unidentified ship, but from the type of source, it was likely the Hur'q. They copied the Federation's database of known species and cultures, leaving Chakotay to muse on their next move. DIALOGUE FAIL

The Ba'ul have engaged the Hur‘q, but don’t have enough firepower to overcome the massive fleet. Saru asks for your help, but also asks you to be discrete, so as not to frighten his people. Your crew fires on the Hur'q vessels, then slowly pulls away, a large fleet of Starfleet vessels in tow. Your strategy of aggression followed by retreat slowly lures the Hur'q far enough away to engage them outright. Your crew engaged the Hur'q vessels head-on, sparking a major battle just outside the atmosphere of Karimar and sending the Kelpians in a panic. During the fray, several Hur'q ships slip down to the surface and attack the people below.

While time is short, it seems Burnham may be onto something, as you come across notes on technology that seems beyond the Hur'q's comprehension. DIALOGUE FAIL
