Barclay has been working on a project with Lewis Zimmerman, which the latter feels would be perfect to try out on the invading Hur'q. The pair ask you to distract the Hur’q fleet while they set their plan in motion.
You lead a small fleet in a head on attack against the Hur'q, then, once they're fully engaged, lead them away. Zimmerman and Barclay manage to flank them and set off a photonic surge that scrambles their equipment. You escape the surge in time.
Your crew manages to distract the Hur'q, but they come at your ship full force, damaging it. When Barclay and Zimmerman deploy their photonic surge, your ship's computers are scrambled along with the Hur'q's.

Your chief medical officer is able to obtain the body of a deceased Hur'q who raided a Federation outpost. In addition to expanding knowledge about Hur'q biology, your CMO also notices an odd mutation not present in previous DNA samples.

The Department of Temporal Investigations has observed sudden clusters of chronitons appearing in the vicinity of Qo'noS, then disappearing just as rapidly. They ask your crew to aid in their investigation.
Your science and engineering teams evaluate the chroniton clusters and learn Kol is trying to force his own temporal anomaly so he can change the past. Your crew works with the DTI to neutralize the chronitons.
Your science and engineering teams study the mass emissions of chronitons, but are unable to locate their source or decrease the massive amount emitted.
