Captain Pavel Chekov says that theTox [sic] Uthat quantum phase inhibitor has been stolen from Procyon V. History recorded that an epic battle is to take place there, so get the inhibitor to the Federation and your ship off the planet before the battle.
Your crew locates the inhibitor, stolen by a Mudd android. After returning the inhibitor, you see the battle beginning behind you in the distance as you leave Procyon V. It is unlikely that the android will survive the historically epic battle.
The search for the inhibitor takes longer than anticipated, and the battle begins. Your ship will now inadvertently be involved in one of the bloodiest battles in the history of space.

Your crew finds the Carrion on the edge of the Gamma quadrant, where it engages you without communication. The Carrion has more advanced weaponry than expected, and your ship is forced to retreat from the incursion.
