Your away team repairs the navigational equipment, but notices the issue only happens when the ship is headed in certain directions. Your team creates a bypass that keeps that information from being shared unnecessarily and the problem resolves. While attempting to repair the equipment, one of your away team members is shocked and sent to sickbay.

Several Halkans invited aboard the Cerritos threaten to leave before the event has even begun. See what has this peaceful group so enraged. While the Halkans are tight—lipped at first, you learn that several other guests have been using this opportunity to pester them nonstop about dilithium mining. You intervene and finally gain them interpersonal peace. While trying to talk to the Halkans, the subject of dilithium comes up and they leave in a huff.

The ongoing accidents aboard the ship have severely disrupted the crew's ability to complete their essential tasks. They've also endangered essential functionality and ongoing experiments. Investigate and address the issues. While some issues seem to have mysterious causes, such as outages in different sectors of the ship, others have obvious causes, like a botanical experiment ruined by Lwaxana tinkering-with environmental controls. Your team addresses each situation. Your away team is dealing with a replicator spewing root beer nonstop when the mess hall lights go out with no discernible cause.

Doopler's duplications are out of control! While setting up for the event, he has become increasingly prone to outbursts (and duplications). In turn, it's been harder to bring him back to one. Find out what's going on. After calming Doopler and getting him to talk to you, you learnwhaefkeeps hearing whispered insults. You investigate, but everyone insists it wasn't them. Yet, following your investigation, the whispering stops. A frustrated member of your away team teaches Doopler the adage about sticks and stones and words. It is ineffective.

As a lot of the delegates visiting will be from species the Federation doesn't know much about, that means there isn't a lot of data on things like their dietary needs or biologies. Doctor T'Ana asks your team for assistance. Your away team gathers information on the visiting delegates from a variety of sources and programs food into the replicators reminiscent of that on their homeworlds. Your away team is unable to procure information pertinent to Doctor T'Ana's request.

There have been several malfunctions surrounding the dinner. Replicators shutting down, doors not opening, transporters needing recalibrated. Investigate the issue. A member of your away team suspects a few ensigns may be playing pranks, but instead finds them overworked and exhausted, assigned a task list by Lwaxana taking them far Outside their normal duties and leaving them no time for essential maintenance. While attempting to investigate, a member of your team is trapped in a faulty turbolift.

Communicators shipwide are activating and emitting a high-pitched, staticky noise that is maddening crew and guest alike. Doctor T'Ana begs you to make it stop before she claws her way up the walls of sickbay - literally! Every time your away team gets close to identifying the source of the interference, it changes. Nevertheless, they are able to modify communication frequencies and stop the inference. No matter how hard they try to mitigate it, the sound is so distracting, your team can't even think clearly enough to devise a solution.

Lwaxana's guest list has quickly ballooned in size - and with crew included, it's far beyond what the Cerritos is built to handle! Figure out a solution without flaring any tempers. Using ship schematics, your away team explains the situation to the larger delegations. You manage to convince them to bring only a couple guests without inadvertently causing insult. Despite your attempts to rearrange quarters and even stagger guest arrival times, there is no way for Lwaxana's desired guest list to work.

On learning of Lwaxana's involvement, there are a couple of invited delegates who decline, which only causes Lwaxana to become more insistent that they must attend. Intervene before her diplomatic efforts cause a intergalactic incident. Unbeknownst to Lwaxana, your away team plans a separate occasion for those delegates to meet with other Starfleet officials like Ambassador Spock. The second contacts are successful, though it is noted Doopler was not the best choice of host. Your away team tries to please both Lwaxana and the delegates, leaving neither satisfied.

The small Rakhari delegation sent to the event has just as much muscle as it does diplomats. And the diplomats seem uncomfortable being asked about their world. Help ease tensions before the security detail gets involved. Your away team steps in and is able to ease the Rakhari delegates into the event without putting them in a situation where they might get in trouble. Nevertheless, your team still manages to get some interesting intel and earn their trust. Your away team is far too pushy with the delegates and their security detail quickly ushers them out of the room when one of your crew members asks about their government.

Several delegations coming from the Gamma Quadrant are unfamiliar with the Alpha Quadrant. They ask for your assistance. Your away team provides an escort from Deep Space Nine to where the Cerritos is docked. The delegates appreciate your help. Your away team gives the delegates coordinates and directions, but this information doesn't account for anomalies that may be unfamiliar to visitors from another quadrant. The delegates are so dismayed, they head back through the wormhole instead.

During a first contact with one of the delegates intending to attend the event, the delegate mentioned a rare vintage of bloodwine they want to try. Lwaxana sends your away team to track down that vintage. Your away team has to practically comb every inch of Qo'noS, but they manage to find a bottle and return with it, much to Lwaxana's delight. Your away team is unable to find that vintage and one crew member is bitten by a targ while approaching a vineyard.

PADDs throughout the Cerritos have been rendered unusable, all onscreen text replaced by poetry of varying quality. Mariner asks you to fix the glitch or she's gonna be sick. Your away team upgrades the PADDs and restricts access, returning the PADDs to normal functionality. One of your crew members does note that some of the poems mentioned Lwaxana by name... Attempts to reset the PADDs to their intended purpose fail, leaving sickbay with no access to medical records, but plenty of sappy sonnets.

The Cerritos is experiencing increasingly frequent power surges, threatening not only the second contact event, but the ship's essential functions. Help investigate the cause. Though no clear answer is found, your away team pinpoints some commonalities and is able to predict the surges accurately enough to circumvent them. While conducting a diagnostic on the ship's power supply, a surge knocks all diagnostic equipment offline.

Diplomacy Not every being inhales oxygen and exhales carbon dioxide. Some creatures exhale gasses unknown. Normally, the environmental controls detect and adjust, but it isn't possible with the amount of people present. Find a solution before the air runs out. Your away team recalibrates a set of medical tricorders and sets to work retrieving data about air composition. With that data, they are able to manually recalibrate the environmental controls. Your away team is too slow in addressing the issue and Captain Freeman is forced to evacuate the Cerritos.

A shuttle mission to pick up a group of delegates runs long. Captain Freeman sends your away team to find the four ensigns and ensure they haven't gone AWOL. Your away team finds the ensigns helping the delegates track down a rare fruit they wish to bring as a gift for the festivities and helps them find it. Your away team is unable to locate the shuttle, the ensigns, or the delegates.

Your away team is unable to figure out how to help the extradimensional guests.

The helmsman loses control of the Cerritos and the ship takes off on a straight course for a dangerous asteroid belt. Intervene before the ship is destroyed! Your away team finds that some sort of interference disrupted the-{helmsman's ability to pilot and are able to dispel it, restoring control of the ship. Your away team is unable to regain control of the ship and Captain Freeman is forced to launch a panicked evacuation.

Crew and guests alike are reporting that when they look at their reflections in mirrors or darkened screens, they often find they aren't alone. Investigate these mirror manifestations. Your away team investigates and finds an intense amount of photons and light in the area. Though they don't have a comprehensive answer, by altering light frequencies throughout the ship, the issue seems to resolve. Your away team is investigating when one of your crew members panics, indicating they saw someone else's reflection. When you look, you don't see it.

The Cerritos' holodeck is experiencing all manner of catastrophe. But when the bridge crew are trapped in a realistic simulation of a colosseum battle, Mariner calls on you to help. Could Badgey be back at it again? Your team manages to enter the holodeck in time to see Ransom lifting a lion into the air. Just before overriding and deactivating the program, a member of your team notices something strange about the emperor, but he disappears seconds later. Your away team is unable to enter the holodeck to rescue the bridge crew.

Despite her vast ambassadorial experience, Lwaxana Troi's blunt manner and untethered telepathy have offended several visiting delegates, leading someone to leave threats outside her quarters. Investigate the matter. Your team provides security. They catch and interrogate the delegate, who insists he only wanted her to stop sharing his private thoughts. He is sent home (and appears thankful for it), while your team tries to calm Lwaxana's telepathic prying. Your away team is unable to identify the one threatening the ambassador. Most of their time is spent dealing with the ambassador's very blunt observations about their own lives.

Crew members are reporting encountering colleagues acting markedly out of character, but when these colleagues are asked, they have no recollection. Investigate the cause. Your team finds mirror counterparts are slipping briefly into the prime universe before slipping back again. Somehow the ship is generating a frequency causing this. You alter the frequency and set the ship firmly in the prime universe. While attempting to investigate, members of your away team are accused of things that sound completely out of character for them.

A diplomat from a world only recently encountered by the Federation is critically injured. Treat the diplomat and uncover the identity of the assailant. Though the diplomat's biology is still unfamiliar to Starfleet medicine, your away team is able to gather resources and stabilize him. Your team also learns the attack was a preemptive move by the Na'Kuhl to swing future politics in their favor. While investigating what happened, one of the members of your away team is attacked by an unseen assailant and ends up in sickbay.

Amid all the strange occurrences aboard the Cerritos, two adversarial species from neighboring planets are all too eager to accuse one another. Investigate their accusations. While unable to get clear answers on the cause of all the phenomena, your away team is able to at least confirm that neither of the two factions are involved. While attempting to investigate, your away team is surprised by saboteurs from both sides.
