A scientist from the 32nd century studying a rare disorder affecting Romulans born on Ni'Var wants to begin genetic modification in the 24th century to prevent the mutation that causes it. But this sparks ethics debates. Intervene and mediate.

Your away team studies the scientists' ideas. The modifications he proposes are incredibly dangerous and you manage to persuade him instead to pursue less invasive interventions by providing him access to Federation research.

Your away team attempts to convince the scientist to reconsider, but he is insulted and completely rebukes your offers to help.

Many brought to the present by the temporal anomalies are not familiar with the Neutral Zone in its current state. The many incursions in the Neutral Zone have caused hostilities to erupt in that area. Ensure these hostilities do not escalate.

Your away team arrives to find several warbirds chasing off an early iteration of the NX-01. You manage to intercede and convince the Romulans to stand down, promising to ensure all newcomers are aware of the Neutral Zone.

An older Romulan ship brought to the present by temporal anomaly goes missing after attempting to activate its cloaking device. The Empire enlists your help finding it.

Calibrating your sensors for the older cloaking device, you learn the older vessel encountered a tachyon detection grid, which caused a malfunction with the older cloaking device and the vessel itself. You are able to safely recover the crew.

Despite your best efforts, your away team is unable to locate the missing crew.

Old Grudges Die Hard

Whispers of certain Romulans from across time trying to reignite old hostilities with the Klingons are rippling across the galaxy. Investigate and prevent a possible intergalactic incident.

After thorough investigation, your away team is able to intervene, cool warming hostilities, and confront those actively working to undermine galactic peace.

Your away team goes straight to the source and their rash meddling only serves as further justification for those looking to stoke hostility and distrust.

Feeling frustrated that their history of secrecy continues to isolate them, Simon Tarses tries to persuade the Romulans to share some of their culture with the galaxy. His suggestions however are met with violent resistance and he asks for your help.

Your away team is able to protect Simon and also help him to make his case (and temper his expectations). At the very least, his life is safe.

Shipments of Romulan mind probes have gone missing and the Empire is accusing the Federation. Seek out the real culprits and bring them to justice.

Following a decoy shipment, your away team learns it was the Duras sisters stealing the shipments, You manage to find where they were storing the probes, turning the probes and the sisters over to the Romulans.
|
Despite their investigation, your away team is unable to figure out who has been stealing the probes.

Turnabout is Fair Play

A Romulan senator who is to be assassinated by a trusted friend arrives in the present. Learning of his fate, he decides to pay his former friend, now a senator himself, back in kind. Their feud quickly escalates and you are asked to intervene.
|
Your away team offers the former senator asylum for now, but advises him that if he stays, history may repeat itself, especially as he has gone after the current senator. For now, he reluctantly takes you up on your offer.
|
Your away team's efforts to mediate are only seen as meddling and you are quickly sent away. This is a Romulan matter, meant to be settled between Romulans.
