Your team sends the holowork back to Neelix, advising it may need more time in the oven. While investigating, an unassuming meal at a replomat lands your whole team in sickbay.

While trying to figure out what's going on, your away team finds themselves trapped in Doctor Chaotica's Fortress of Doom.

Could a femme fatale be keeping crew members hostage? Several members of Voyager's crew have yet to return from the holodeck and Captain Janeway sends you to track 'em down. After some smooth engineering, you find them at a jazz bar, each enthralled with a different version of Minuet. When you try to take them with you, the Minuets go on the offensive, but you manage to outwit the digital dame and get them out. While searching, members of your team are lured off by versions of the Minuet hologram.

An uprising at a Federation dilithium processing center of decommissioned EMHs is bad enough. But now word's out they were chanting lines from "Photons Be Free"? You better investigate fast before the Doc finds himself on the decommissioning line! The Doc's reluctant to talk to the EMHs at first 'cause he feels for the guys, but he would rather that than the decommissioning. He convinces they to take other avenues to air their grievances and they settle down, for now. Your away team tries to persuade the EMHs, but only stokes the fire more and even elicits further sympathy in the Doctor.

One man's trash is another man's terror! Abbadon hails Voyager, enraged, accusing Tom Paris of sabotage. All hopes of civil discourse go out the window when his ships' weapons' systems activate. Get to the bottom of his belligerent buyer's remorse. It takes some bluffing from your team and the crew, but Abbadon finally talks, revealing a copy of Captain Proton Paris sold him went haywire and attacked the Kazon he sold it to, leading them to rough him up. You take the holonovel to look it over. Abbadon sneers that talk is cheap, as your attempts to placate him only make him more hostile. He begins firing on Voyager.

Whodunnit!? Dixon Hill is called away from his own program and into Lord Burleigh's manor - where the lord of the house has been poisoned! His children accuse the associates of Lucile Davenport - the crew of the Voyager! Out the perpetrator! After an in-depth investigation, your away team gives their findings to Dixon, who gathers everyone in the parlor to announce his conclusion - that the poisoning was a computer error in generating Burleigh's tea, one which incapacitated the hologram. Despite your best efforts, no answers can be found in the poisoning of Lord Burleigh.

Your team manages to separate fiction from fact. While attempting to gain access to Harry's files, your away team triggers Starfleet security protocols.

This divide and conquer strategy works and you are able to send both members of the dastardly duo on their way. Turanj hails Voyager enraged! He shouts they must rein in attacks by crew members on Hirogen ships, lest he launch a head-on attack on them! With the note that Paris shaving his mustache isn't fooling him, Turanj angrily signs off. Investigate. Your team investigates from Voyager. With some crafty engineering, you find holograms from Photons Be Free have broken free and sent themselves to the holoemitters of the Hirogen ship. You send Turanj a fix and he offers a gruff thank you. Your away team presses Turanj for access to his ship to investigate. Turanj interprets this as another attempt by Voyager's crew and their allies to compromise his ship. He turns his weaponry on Voyager and fires.
