Help prevent the Klingons' love of honor from turning violent. Your security team and officers spend some time in Quark's, hearing the warriors' insistence that no honorable Klingon would allow himself to be taken prisoner and preventing violent outbursts under the influence of bloodwine. Despite opposition from some higher-ups in Starfleet, Captain Picard decides he wants to approach the Dominion directly about rumors of the prisoners, but he's having trouble finding a group of officers to join him. Though the Female Changeling refuses to meet with you and the Vorta insist the rumor is false, they assure you they will investigate. DIALOGUE FAIL

Medicine As unpleasant as it is, Ezri Dax believes it may be necessary to interview those who were kept as prisoners of war during both the Cardassian Occupation and the Dominion War and she asks for your help interviewing people who experienced it firsthand. Your crew splits up and begin interviewing those Starfleet has records of. Forcing the former POWs to relive their experiences is difficult, thought it yields much needed insight into what this current group of prisoners may be enduring. Your officers begin interviewing former POWs associated with Starfleet, but, perhaps due to a lack fo care and tact, the experience seems to repoen old wounds for many.

Your engineering team works to reconstruct the device. Your engineering team works tirelessly on the PADD, but it is so badly damaged and it seems your team lacks the delicacy and skill to repair it.

Starfleet Command sends your crew an urgent communication - a faint signal has been detected from a ship believed to be Kira's, but the exact location can't be pinpointed. It's crash-landed on an uninhabited planet and there are no signs of survivors. Your crew circles the area the signal is coming from, but is unable to pinpoint its location before the signal dies out

Your medical team joins Doctor Bashir in his research, but has a difficult time identifying and isolating the cause of the matching symptoms he is seeing.

Commander Sisko asks your crew to provide aid. Your crew arrives and begins attending to the injured while you and your officers establish contact with the Vorta. They reluctantly order the Jem'Hadar to stand down, with the caveat that they expect the ships gone as soon as they are able. Your crew arrives and attempts to aid the injured, but is quickly intercepted by the Jem'Hadar, who refused to stand down or cease fire until all Federation ships have gone from this area.

The starbase's chief security officer asks your crew for help and suggests that an object resembling a skull seems to be the cause. Investigate and calm the Hirogen. Your officers seize the skull. The Hirogen are in pursuit of what they believe to be a lead on the prisoners' whereabouts - an uncharted planetoid on the outskirts of the Alpha Quadrant - but Starfleet insists that you go along to be sure the Hirogen don't ruffle any feathers. Your arrival immediately elicits fire from the surface and you are forced to retreat, telling the Hirogen to do the same. On investigation, you see it is a penal colony for an unknown alien race, but no sign of human, Klingon, or Bajoran prisoners. You rush to the planetoid to find the Hirogen already locked in battle with the inhabitants. It appears to be some sort of penal colony, but you cannot get close enough to identify the prisoners before your ship is damaged, forcing a hasty retreat.

Following reports that Major Kira was searching in the Gamma Quadrant for the mysterious prisoners, several Hirogen vessels charge full-force through the wormhole and enrage the Jem'Hadar. Intervene before one side makes a trophy out of the other. Your crew approaches cautiously, hailing both sides but ready to flee at a moment's notice. Though reluctant to stand down, the Hirogen pull back long enough for a supervising Vorta to insist they know nothing of Kira or the prisoners before fleeing. Your crew rushes to intervene, but is hit by a stray photon blast. Even as your communications officer repeatedly hails both sides, the fighting intensifies and your ship is so badly damaged, you have no choice but to flee.

Intervene before the pack's anger gets violent. Your crew tries to hail the distant pack as they are confronting another pack. The distant Hirogen have no interest in talking to those from Starfleet, but they back down from their fellow Hirogen. But the sting of being called hunting dogs lingers.
