Your away team approaches one of the anomalies Weyoun suggested. Your vessel is almost drawn in, but you manage to escape and take readings. You are unable to reach the Weyoun clone, so you send your findings to the Founders. When approaching one of the anomalies Weyoun assigned you to, your vessel is sucked in. Not everyone makes it, but those who do find themselves in what must have been the galaxy, billions of years ago, with no obvious method of return.

Several Ferengi freighters have disappeared. The only clues left behind are that they reported finding a strange substance just before. Investigate the disappearance. Based on the information, your away team pieces together that this mysterious substance, found at the sites of the rifts, consumed the freighters. You spread the warning galaxy-wide. Your away team finds a strange substance floating near where one of the freighters was last seen. It begins consuming your vessel soon after.

Your away team visits the planet and manages to track down the terrified visitors and bring them back safely. Bashir suggests that one way to get to Q may be through the one human he has visited time and again. He asks your away team to select a set of coordinates where Q met with Captain Picard and take the Enterprise-D's one-time captain there to meet him. After giving Picard some time to speak with O alone, Picard shares he believes they have made progress. 0 appears, but a member of your away team says something that inadvertently insults the immortal being and he turns them into a targ before disappearing.

Security Command Reports of the same individual showing up for duty three times have been popping up. What first was thought to be a result of the anomalies has proven to be more, as the individuals are exact replicas of their current selves. Investigate. Your team is able to surmise that the doppelgangers are clones. While determining what to do with these sentient, corporeal lifeforms, Q appears and snaps the clones away, insisting you are no fun. At least, one would hope they were the clones... While attempting to assess the situation aboard the ISS Discovery, your away team is overwhelmed by a group of Landrys and Killys.
