Polywater intoxication nearly wrecked two Enterprises. Polywater molecules on Traditionalist Kazons' ships could get their crews to destroy themselves, but first the infection must be made airborne.
The away team is able to rearrange the structure of polywater molecules to make them airborne. Section 31 releases this new infection aboard Traditionalist Kazon ships, knocking out much of their fleet.
The away team's attempts to modify polywater molecules nearly free the molecules from their containment field. Section 31 forces the team to abandon the project before they infect themselves.

Unlike many other species, the Ferengi never invented warp technology–they bought it. If Section 31 can sabotage the Traditionalists' warp core factories, they won't have the technical knowledge to rebuild them.
It takes a series of quick, coordinated assaults to knock out all of the Traditionalists' warp core factories, but the away team pulls it off. The Traditionalist fleet won't be able to expand without new warp cores.
Although the away team's series of strikes destroys many Traditionalist warp core factories, some are left standing, and the Traditionalists use the schematics from these to begin rebuilding the rest.

There's nothing the Traditionalists respect more than profit. Decipher the Traditionalist leaders' ledgers for proof of unprofitable deals. A bad enough deal could bring many Ferengi over to the Alliance side.
Ferengi business contracts are enough to make anyone's head spin, but the away team finds several incredibly bad deals by Traditionalist leaders. When the documents go public, Traditionalist support weakens.
After hours wading through labyrinthine Ferengi business contracts, the only thing the away team has found are headaches. Any bad dealings the Traditionalist leaders may have had remain a mystery.

The Bajoran Prophets once led Grand Nagus Zek to rewrite the Rules of Acquisition in a most unprofitable way. Confuse the Traditionalists by replacing their copies of the Rules with Zek's more charitable version.
The new Rules of Acquisition sow chaos among the Traditionalists. Some adopt their charitable suggestions, confusing their neighbors, while others see this as a sign of the end of days. Section 31 is pleased.
When replacing the old Rules of Acquisition with the new, the away team botches the transport. The Traditionalists are left with copies that are half new, half old, and clearly the result of foul play.

Brunt is the Traditionalists' most feared leader, but he can't have acquired all his profits legally. Interview Brunt's previous clients and find grounds to revoke his business license, rendering him powerless.
After many interviews, the away team learns that Brunt did not pay the proper taxes on a trade with several Andorians two years ago. When they bring this to the Commerce Authority, Brunt loses his business license.
After a series of exhausting interviews, all the away team has learned for certain is that Brunt is very, very rich. If he's evaded the Ferengi Trade By-Laws while accumulating this profit, the team can't find any proof.

Among the Traditionalists, Ferengi females still cannot wear clothes. Sneaking a shipment of clothing–with plenty of pockets for latinum–to their females should encourage them to seek profit for themselves.
The away team gets clothing to almost every single Traditionalist female. With so many of them clothed, the Traditionalists can't afford to arrest half their population, who quickly begin their own business ventures.
The away team is caught distributing clothes to Traditionalist females. They're able to escape, but the small handful of females now wearing clothes are quickly arrested for breaking the law.

Quark once became "Lumba" to see a deal through. Now it's time for Rom to become Quark. Have a medical team disguise the Grand Nagus as his brother and release a statement of Traditionalist surrender.
The away team transforms Rom into the spitting image of his brother. Once he releases a message of Traditionalist surrender, many Traditionalists defect to the "winning" side before the deception is uncovered.
The away team tries their best to transform Rom into Quark, but they just can't get the nose right. After the procedure is reversed, it takes several days before Rom entirely feels like himself again.

"When Morn leaves, it's all over." If you can convince the Lurian to leave his favorite bar for another, Quark will take it as an omen that the Traditionalists are a lost cause, undermining their leadership.
It's hard getting a word in edgewise with the ever-talkative Morn, but the away team finally convinces him to adopt another bar as his new home. When Morn doesn't return, Quark quickly loses faith in his cause.
Nothing the away team says can get Morn to leave his favorite bar on the station. The Lurian even convinces the away team to stay at Quark's and have drinks with him before they remember their duties.

The Ferengi's incredible hearing is both a blessing and a curse. A study of their tympanic membranes should allow Section 31 to find a sonic frequency that is painful to Ferengi, and use it against the Traditionalists.
The away team eventually finds a frequency that is outside the hearing range of most other species but is like nails on a chalkboard to Ferengi. Section 31 gets to work weaponizing this against the Traditionalists.
The only frequencies the away team can find that are harmful to Ferengi ears are agonizing for most other ones, too. Even earplugs won't stop the sounds from hurting the user as much as the target.

Section 31 wants to embed one of its human agents among the Traditionalists, but they'll have to be able to think like a Ferengi. Test the agent's tongo skills to ensure that they're ready for the mission.
The away team wins every ounce of latinum the prospective undercover agent had. Properly convinced that the agent isn't ready to pass as a Ferengi, Section 31 sends them back for more training.
The agent might be a bad tongo player, but the away team plays even worse than an infant Ferengi. The results of the game are an embarassment to everyone and Section 31 learns nothing from the test.
