Diplomacy Many Klingons have been reluctant to lead a direct assault on Ferenginar, convinced that they would not face worthy enough foes. Fabricate a report stating that Captain Kirk himself is on the planet, to assuage them. Hearing that their old enemy Kirk is on Ferenginar is more than enough to get the 23rd century Klingons shouting for battle. Although Kirk never shows, their victory against the Alliance earns them plenty of glory. The away team's report makes some Klingons eager for battle, but the more skeptical among them question what Kirk would be doing among the Ferengi. The planned strike against the Alliance fizzles and dies.

A Ferengi businessman has overheard rumors that the Alliance plans to release tribbles among Traditionalist food stores. Eradicate these mortal enemies of the Klingon Empire before they can reproduce! The away team leads Klingon troops to victory against the soft but ecologically devastating tribbles, eradicating them before they can reproduce. The Second Great Tribble Hunt is a campaign worthy of song. No matter how quickly the away team rounds up the newly released tribbles, there always seems to be more of them. Before long, they are in Traditionalist storehouses, wrecking both food supplies and the economy.

The away team's prowess with the bat'leth impresses Klingons and Kazon alike. The Kazon-Nistrim are eager to test their hard-earned new combat skills against the Ferengi Alliance. After many cuts and bruises, the away team learns that Kazon and Klingon fighting techniques don't mix. The Kazon-Nistrim refuse to learn Klingon discipline, leaving them unprepared for Alliance attacks.

Help Kor, Koloth, and Kang find this weapon's weak points. The away team finds that a properly tuned disruptor fired at an energy whip shorts out the whip and shocks the wielder. Kor, Koloth, and Kang prepare their troops against Alliance Ferengi using this weapon. The away team can't find a weakness to the Ferengi energy whips, leaving Kor, Kang, and Koloth with nothing but their wits to defend their warriors against Ferengi Alliance troops.

Restore several old D7 class battle cruisers the Traditionalists have bought. The away team uses schematics from D7-style Romulan ships to get the old battle cruisers back in working order. With these cruisers at their command, the Klingons can truly strike back at the Alliance. The away team can't make sense of the wiring in the old D7-class battle cruisers. While the 23rd Century Klingons struggle to get up to speed with modern vessels, they lose several battles to the Ferengi Alliance.

Develop a toxin for him to use that is tailored to Ferengi food staples. The away team modifies a compound that slugs on Ferenginar eat to break down into a poison once ingested. When Darvin feeds it to slugs in Alliance food silos, all their contents are quickly spoiled. So many Ferengi foods already contain toxic swamp waste that the away team can't come up with a compound to poison them. The Ferengi Alliance's food stores remain intact.

The Traditionalists fear that Section 31 has bribed some of their financial leaders to betray them. The Klingons have provided a mind-sifter, if you can use it to separate the traitors from the loyal Traditionalists. Beneath many thoughts on the Rules of Acquisition, the away team finds that one version of Brunt has been bought out by Section 31. The traitorous Brunt is arrested, and the other Traditionalist leaders are safe. Sifting through Traditionalist leaders' minds, the away team learns of many interesting business ventures of questionable legality, but can't determine whether any of them are Section 31 agents.

The away team develops a procedure that gives the 23rd century Klingons enormous, almost unwieldy earlobes. Alliance forces cower before these terrifyingly modified Klingons. The away team is able to enhance some Klingons' earlobes, but they can't make the results appealing to the Klingons wearing them. All the warriors reject the procedure, and the Alliance remains unintimidated.

The cloaking device on the IKS Klothos keeps the away team hidden during their search, but it does not help them find any Section 31 agents. They return to Traditionalist space empty-handed.

After long enough as Kahless, the Excalbian believes it truly is Kahless, and eagerly joins the fight against the Alliance. The away team's best efforts only trap the Excalbian in Kahless's form temporarily. Once back in its natural rocky state, the Excalbian flees, leaving the Klingons without a leader against the Alliance.

Polywater intoxication nearly wrecked two Enterprises. Polywater molecules on Traditionalist Kazons' ships could get their crews to destroy themselves, but first the infection must be made airborne. The away team is able to rearrange the structure of polywater molecules to make them airborne. Section 31 releases this new infection aboard Traditionalist Kazon ships, knocking out much of their fleet. The away team's attempts to modify polywater molecules nearly free the molecules from their containment field. Section 31 forces the team to abandon the project before they infect themselves.

If Section 31 can sabotage the Traditionalists' warp core factories, they won't have the technical knowledge to rebuild them. It takes a series of quick, coordinated assaults to knock out all of the Traditionalists' warp core factories, but the away team pulls it off. The Traditionalist fleet won't be able to expand without new warp cores. Although the away team's series of strikes destroys many Traditionalist warp core factories, some are left standing, and the Traditionalists use the schematics from these to begin rebuilding the rest.

There's nothing the Traditionalists respect more than profit. Decipher the Traditionalist leaders' ledgers for proof of unprofitable deals. A bad enough deal could bring many Ferengi over to the Alliance side. Ferengi business contracts are enough to make anyone's head spin, but the away team finds several incredibly bad deals by Traditionalist leaders. When the documents go public, Traditionalist support weakens. After hours wading through labyrinthine Ferengi business contracts, the only thing the away team has found are headaches. Any bad dealings the Traditionalist leaders may have had remain a mystery.

Confuse the Traditionalists by replacing their copies of the Rules with Zek's more charitable version. The new Rules of Acquisition sow chaos among the Traditionalists. Some adopt their charitable suggestions, confusing their neighbors, while others see this as a sign of the end of days. Section 31 is pleased. When replacing the old Rules of Acquisition with the new, the away team botches the transport. The Traditionalists are left with copies that are half new, half old, and clearly the result of foul play.

After many interviews, the away team learns that Brunt did not pay the proper taxes on a trade with several Andorians two years ago. When they bring this to the Commerce Authority, Brunt loses his business license. After a series of exhausting interviews, all the away team has learned for certain is that Brunt is very, very rich. If he's evaded the Ferengi Trade By-Laws while accumulating this profit, the team can't find any proof.

When Morn doesn't return, Quark quickly loses faith in his cause. Nothing the away team says can get Morn to leave his favorite bar on the station. Medicine The Ferengi's incredible hearing is both a blessing and a curse. A study of their tympanic membranes should allow Section 31 to find a sonic frequency that is painful to Ferengi, and use it against the Traditionalists. The away team eventually finds a frequency that is outside the hearing range of most other species but is like nails on a chalkboard to Ferengi. Section 31 gets to work weaponizing this against the Traditionalists. The only frequencies the away team can find that are harmful to Ferengi ears are agonizing for most other ones, too. Even earplugs won't stop the sounds from hurting the user as much as the target.

Section 31 wants to embed one of its human agents among the Traditionalists, but they'll have to be able to think like a Ferengi. Test the agent's tongo skills to ensure that they're ready for the mission. The away team wins every ounce of latinum the prospective undercover agent had. Properly convinced that the agent isn't ready to pass as a Ferengi, Section 31 sends them back for more training. The agent might be a bad tongo player, but the away team plays even worse than an infant Ferengi. The results of the game are an embarassment to everyone and Section 31 learns nothing from the test.

Nothing changes hearts and minds like good marketing, and no drink is more popular on Ferenginar than Slug-o-Cola. Come up with a new Slug-o-Cola slogan that will inspire the Alliance to fight. Slug-o-Cola sales reach an all-time high thanks to the away team's new slogan: "When the going gets tough, the tough drink Slug-o-Cola!" Inspired by each slimy sip, more Ferengi join the fight against the Traditionalists. The Alliance has a new weapon against the Traditionalists, one they won't be able to resist. The canisters leak while still aboard Ferengi Alliance ships, knocking their own crews unconscious.
