The assaults from the Borg this time around are further complicated by the fact their attacks seem more concentrated than ever before. Starfleet puts out a call for anyone who can manage to disrupt the Borg's synchronized dance of death.
Your engineers manage to craft a program that can disrupt the Collective, throwing each cube off the next by a nanosecond. Your officers slip aboard a cube and manage to implant the program before escaping.
Your officers attempt to undo some of the upgrades implimented (sic) while trying to assist the Borg, but find the Borg have already customized those same upgrades, making them inaccessible to the very people who installed them.

When one Borg cube separates from the rest and disappears from the fray, Starfleet suspects it may be the cube carrying Locutus and sends your crew to investigate.
You give chase, finally catching up to the cube. You engage in battle with it, learning that it does not carry Locutus, only a severely diminished contingent of drones. You continue your pursuit, but the cube finally gives you the slip.
You pursue the cube, but it outmaneuvers you, delivering one devastating strike after another until it finally evades your badly damaged vessel.

Data wants to attempt to stop the chaos by linking remotely with Young Locutus, but too many are afraid this could prove disastrous if the Collective manages to hack Data's positronic brain. He asks you to help him find a way.
Your engineers and scientists craft a partitioning subroutine along with a remote access amplifier. Though Data has yet to reach Locutus, he feels secure enough to keep trying thanks to your efforts.
Your engineers attempt to craft a partition to keep the Borg out, but disaster strikes on Data's first attempt and Starfleet forbids him from trying again.

Though your crew has been tasked with getting to the root of the Borg seizure, their onslaught is so intense and defenses so tight that Starfleet has asked you to commit a contingent of your people to join the battle.
The crew members you send prove their mettle in the heat of battle and help to whittle down the forces being controlled by Young Locutus with as little bloodshed as possible.
Your crew contingent fights hard--perhaps too hard in the aftermath of several onboard casualties. Some of your crew members are facing court martial for violating basic rules of engagement.

Word reaches your crew that the Borg have ramped up their assimilation efforts, sweeping away the entire population of a planet at the edge of Federation space. Starfleet sends you to investigate.
Your crew arrives on the barren world, finding traces of the civilization that was assimilated. You manage to find a few survivors, but it's clear much of the population has been assimilated.
By the time your crew manages to find the decimated world, any who were not assimilated have died from their injuries

Voyager's EMH and Doctor Crusher have been working together on an easier, quicker way to remove Borg implants and nanoprobes, but their test runs seem to be coming up short. They ask for your crew's help.
You manage to rescue an assimilated human, providing both doctors with a perfect test subject. Though there is debate over the ethics of your actions, the results seem well worth the trouble.
One of your crew members scavenges implants and nanoprobes off several dead Borg, causing outrage from those worried about the aftermath of this conflict.

As reluctant as everyone is to do it, Starfleet finally brings in Picard to gain from him as many memories of his time with the Borg as they can. But in his trauma, there is much he has repressed and so Starfleet asks for anyone who might help.
Your ship's medical staff and counselor come up with a device similar to a mind probe that can unearth repressed memories in a willing patient. The counselor works with Picard as the repressed memories are slowly unearthed.
Using Romulan mind probes as a prototype, your medical and engineering teams craft a device to unearth repressed memories, but the device reveals nothing, serving instead to only traumatize Picard further.

Starfleet has made numerous attempts to lock onto the specific Borg cube in question, but with their numbers so great, all their attempts are in vain. They ask for your help in tracking the cube.
Using the adult Captain Picard's DNA, your engineers craft a program that can parse the Collective and seek out where the younger Picard's physical location is. The program is imprecise and still needs work, but it gives a rough area to search.
Your officers sift through all the information they have on the cube, but find themselves no closer than the rest of Starfleet.
