Several Dominion vessels are damaged coming through the wormhole. While they insist on doing their own repairs, Odo thinks it might engender good faith if your crew can assist them, provided you can do it without stepping on too many toes. Your crew I steps in to the Jem'Hadar attempting repairs and replaces the necessary parts. Meanwhile, your science officers take readings on the wormhole to ensure they will not have issues upon their return. The Female Changeling is grateful. Your crew tries to eavesdrop on the Jem'Hadar handling repairs to provide clandestine aid and is caught, enraging the Jem'Hadar and the Female Changeling who says she knew the Federation could not be trusted.

Odo introduces Doctor Mora to several of the Founders and relates stories of the time they spent together. But later that night, Mora is attacked by a Jem'Hadar who flees Deep Space Nine. Odo asks for your help in bringing Mora's attacker to justice. Your crew catches the Jem'Hadar, who reveals that he was acting on the instructions of a Vorta who was angry over the way Mora once treated Odo. Odo sets the record straight and the Vorta and Jem'Hadar are handed over to the Founders for punishment. Your crew pursues the lem'Hadar, but he refuses to reveal why h'TEFT'a'ttacked Doctor Mora. Ultimately, he self-destructs his getaway vessel, leaving your crew with little in the way of answers.

Shouting brings your crew rushing to Quark's, where a Jem'Hadar has the bartender by the throat on the instructions, saying Quark rigged the dabo wheel against a Founder. Bring the truth to light. Your crew interviews the Changeling and respects the wheel, determining that the wheel is set against every player, not just him. The Changeling is still angry, but so is every other player, and they take over dispensing justice from the Jem'Hadar. Your crew reviews all pertinent information, but when they present their findings to the Changeling - that the wheel is equally slanted against all players - it does nothing to abate their anger. Throwing Quark in lock-up might save his life.

A Changeling studying a PADD covering all known species of the Alpha Quadrant decides to shapeshift into different creatures, to the delight of festival attendees. When he changes into a stegosaurus and cannot change back, your team is asked to help. Your medical staff uses data from Odo's records to learn that the Changeling stretched beyond the imitations of his morphogenic matrix and is now stuck. Linking with a few other Changelings, along with some rest, gradually returns him to normal. Your medical staff tries everything they can think of, but no one can figure out how to restore the Changeling to his original size and shape. What's worse, there isn't much room for a stegosaurus to roam on Deep Space Nine.

Your crew steps in and is asked to help ease the tension. Your security team separates the two sides while your engineers quickly cook up a holosuite program with all safeguards in place where the two groups can find out who is stronger and bond voer some healthy competition. Your security team tries to cool the raging tempers while trying to think of something more long-term to keep the peace, but tensions are just too high and both groups are escorted out of Quark's.

With tensions already running high, the culprit must quickly be caught and dealt with. Your security team investigates the situation and learns that a Klingon whose family was killed during the Dominion War obtained a case of ketracel-white and replaces most of the contents with bloodwine. Your crew quickly apprehended the Klingon. Your crew investigates the situation, but with the Jem'Hadar becoming increasingly violent, they are forced to secure the Promenade first. When they return to investigate the suspect ketracel-white, they find it has disappeared.

A Dominion vessel returning to the Gamma Quadrant is attacked by a rogue Cardassian ship, bent on getting revenge for atrocities on Cardassia. Starfleet asks you to step in and aid the Dominion in getting safely back to the Gamma Quadrant. Your crew provides security for the Dominion for the remainder of their visit and back through the wormhold, assuring them that the matter will be investigated and justice will be served. The Founders are furious and despite your attempts to assure them the matter will be dealt with, they don't want your crew anywhere near them, saying thjs is all the evidence they need for the true nature of solids.

When Picard stops off to take in the Gratitude Festival, he ends up in a debate with a few Founders over the UFP's ideals of acceptance and non-interference versus the Dominion's desire to control. He asks your crew to help him make his case. Your crew searches through Federation history, pulling out key moments and filling a holoprogram with them that Captain Picard can guide the curious Founders through to show how the Prime Directive has made for strong bonds in the Alpha Quadrant. Your engineers research the finer points of Federation history, but pulling together an engaging and convincing program on such short notice proves to be a task too difficult for them. The Founders are not impressed.

The Ferengi celebrate what they see as a chance to be out of the Federation's reach by laying claim to an abandoned planetoid and setting up a mining operation there. They anger the Founders, who insist the Federation deal with them right away. Your crew forces the Ferengi to release their mining operations, at least long enough to seek and obtain permission from the Founders. While they are resistant to the idea, they finally agree and halt the operation for now. Your crew tries to convince the Ferengi to halt their mining operation, but the Ferengi see no reason to listen to you. As a fleet of Dominion ships descend upon the scene, your crew elects to flee before they begin to unleash their wrath.

A group of Jem'Hadar haul Quark kicking and screaming out of the bar, accusing him of abducting several Vorta. It seems that the holosuite the Vorta were in has trapped them inside and the Dominion believe this was deliberate. Investigate the matter. Your engineers unlock the holosuite and free the Vorta. Somehow, a Klingon battle sim crossed over with Vic's Lounge, leading to a terrifying night on the town with no way out. The engineers prove it was an accident and the Founders release Quark. Your engineers struggle to release the Vorta from the holosuite. By the time they do, one of the Vorta is found dead and, with no proof to show it was an accident, Quark is now on the hook for his death.

You prove it was Gaila and not Quark who did the stealing The Karemma are satisfied and agree to free Quark in exchange for Gaila. When you lightly suggest he pursue the proper channels for opening a business here, his eyes glaze over and he walks away. The Karemma lay out their terms and you impress the importance upon the Ferengi. The Karemma appreciate your impartiality. You attempt to serve as a mediator between the two, but as you have no jurisdiction in the Gamma Quadrant and the Karemma are unimpressed by your crew, they bring in the Founders to mediate instead and send you on your way.

Though the Founders themselves don't need food, they have brought offerings from several member species. The result has been an influx of visits to sick bay and several accusations of poisoning. Your crew has been asked to help. Your chief medical officer determines that it was not deliberate poison, but rather T'Rogoran meat pie and some liquid concoction the Founders cooked up, which, as they themselves do not drink, is best left to the imagination.
