The Ferengi celebrate what they see as a chance to be out of the Federation's reach by laying claim to an abandoned planetoid and setting up a mining operation there. They anger the Founders, who insist the Federation deal with them right away.
Your crew forces the Ferengi to release their mining operations, at least long enough to seek and obtain permission from the Founders. While they are resistant to the idea, they finally agree and halt the operation for now.
Your crew tries to convince the Ferengi to halt their mining operation, but the Ferengi see no reason to listen to you. As a fleet of Dominion ships descend upon the scene, your crew elects to flee before they begin to unleash their wrath.

A group of Jem'Hadar haul Quark kicking and screaming out of the bar, accusing him of abducting several Vorta. It seems that the holosuite the Vorta were in has trapped them inside and the Dominion believe this was deliberate. Investigate the matter.
Your engineers unlock the holosuite and free the Vorta. Somehow, a Klingon battle sim crossed over with Vic's Lounge, leading to a terrifying night on the town with no way out. The engineers prove it was an accident and the Founders release Quark.
Your engineers struggle to release the Vorta from the holosuite. By the time they do, one of the Vorta is found dead and, with no proof to show it was an accident, Quark is now on the hook for his death.

Saying he feels pity for his less successful cousin, Gaila agrees to sell Quark a shipment of rare gems at only a twenty percent markup. But when the Dominion lay claim to the shipment, Quark finds he's in serious trouble and asks for your help.
Your crew learns the shipment was stolen from a mining asteroid in the Gamma Quadrant operated by the Karemma. You prove it was Gaila and not Quark who did the stealing The Karemma are satisfied and agree to free Quark in exchange for Gaila.
Your crew investigates the matter, but since Quark took possession of the stolen goods and there is no proof of who originally took them from the mining asteroid, Quark is left to the mercy of the Dominion.

When several Ferengi set up a betting pool involving the Jem'Hadar, they quickly find themselves targets of the Dominion's wrath. Their ship disappears fleeing a Vorta vessel and Starfleet sends your crew through the wormhole to find them.
Your crew heads through the wormhole to find themselves face-to-face with a Vorta ship who tells them to leave the Ferengi to them. Your officers manage to ease the Vorta's anger and track down the Ferengi, who are bought back to be dealt with.
Your crew is confronted by a ship of angry Vorta who feel the Ferengi have crossed a line. They insist that since the Federation couldn't keep them in line, the Ferengi are theirs to deal with. When they fire on your ship, you retreat.

Another commotion at Quark's summons your security team to the bar, this time to see the Ferengi bartender is involved in a heated argument with a Karemma whom he accuses of solicitation. As you try to calm them, you notice the Founders are watching.
Your crew calmly breaks up the argument and reminds the Karemma of Deep Space Nine's rules regarding solicitation. When you lightly suggest he pursue the proper channels for opening a business here, his eyes glaze over and he walks away.
Your crew breaks up the argument quickly, but the Karemma's assertions about Quark's subpar business practices manages to have swayed a few patrons, who follow him onto the Promenade to see what he has to offer.

Goss is eager to explore trade prospects in the Gamma Quadrant, but he's learned from his past experience with wormholes and wants some other ship of fools to demonstrate its safety first. Your crew seems to fit the bill.
Your crew proceeds through the wormhole and sends back images and data to Goss waiting on the other side. Goss triumphantly makes his way through, acting like he was the bold pioneer all along.
Your away team proceeds through the wormhole, but an irregularity within causes damage to your equipment that your crew is ill—prepared to fix.

The Vorta suddenly accuse Ferengi venturing into the Gamma Quadrant of stealing from their ships. The Founders pass the matter on to Starfleet, insisting how they handle the Ferengi will determine their willingness to allow further exploration.
As your crew investigates the matter, your ship is boarded by Morn, carrying another Ferengi in one hand and the stolen goods in the other. He leaves them without a word.
Your crew interrogates several Ferengi supposedly in the area at the time in question, but gets no answers nor any leads on the stolen goods.

The Karemma, who've had a hold on trade in the Gamma Quadrant, are insulted that the Ferengi have moved in without clearing it with them first. When they start using force to shut down Ferengi operations, the Ferengi put out a call for aid.
While you have no jurisdiction in the Gamma Quadrant, you are able to server as a mediator between the Ferengi and the Karemma. The Karemma lay out their terms and you impress the importance upon the Ferengi. The Karemma appreciate your impartiality.
You attempt to serve as a mediator between the two, but as you have no jurisdiction in the Gamma Quadrant and the Karemma are unimpressed by your crew, they bring in the Founders to mediate instead and send you on your way.
