Diplomacy As the missing family members of Starfleet have their pasts restored, they are experiencing an odd phenomena: the past of their current and alternate timelines seems to be converging inside their minds. Help find a solution. Your medical and counseling staff begin working with affected individuals. The issue is temporary, but the psychological damage is a concern. Your officers share the coping techniques that work throughout Starfleet to help others. DIALOGUE FAIL

With the prospect of the Temporal Cold War front and center, Captain Picard suggests a meeting of major Alpha Quadrant factions to compose a sort of precursor to the Temporal Accords. He enlists your crew to get the factions onboard. While you receive resistance from a few factions, many of them see the importance of such a gathering. All of the agreeable factions gather and begin discussing the particulars. DIALOGUE FAIL

Security Ambassador Sarek suggests that, if you want Etana Jol to change her tune, you might start by leaning on the Ktarians and seeing if they can talk some sense into her. The Ktarians don't seem immediately willing to meet with you though. You demonstrate commitment to solving the matter with Etana Jol as peacefully and the Ktarians agree to hear you out. They insist Etana Jol is markedly strong-willed, but they will apply their own pressure to convince her to change. DIALOGUE FAIL

They want to show the Sphere Builders the impact of family on Starfleet's history and request your help doing so. Your crew gathers data showing the impact of having civilian family aboard Starfleet vessels, as well as how often siblings and offspring join Starfleet as well. Your crew investigates but has a hard time pulling together anything that seems to be of value.

Lwaxana Troi, overhearing the fervor over Etana Jol, suggests that the Ktarian wouldn't be so hellbent on overthrowing a faction her people are part of without a strong conviction to do so. Pinpoint that cause to aid talks with her. The Ktarian military leaders are reluctant to give information on Etana at first, but eventually reveal her former military service and her difficult childhood. To her, the utopian Federation may represent everything she never had. Your away team tries to persuade the Ktarian leadership to share insight on Etana Jol, but they see no reason to share sensitive details with the likes of you.

Beverly Crusher suggests that the issues with Etana Jol may indicate a greater problem in relations between the Ktarians and other members of the Federation. She asks for your help in strengthening those bonds. Your crew sets up increased opportunities for cultural exchange, especially as the year draws to a close, and encourages an opportunity for the Ktarians to share any concerns they might have. Your crew tries to establish further opportunities for cultural exchange and increased participation in certain Federation activities, but their attempts to improve relations seem merely to offend the Ktarians.

Naomi Wildman, half-Ktarian herself, suggests a small gesture to reach out to Etana Jol as a show of good faith. She has learned of a small Ktarian antique that had a lot of value to Etana that was sold off and has since disappeared. Track it down. Your crew searches and investigates and finally tracks down the antique. Etana Jol tries to act as if she had forgotten it, but you can see the emotion in her eyes as she accepts the object. Your crew investigates and searches for the missing Ktarian antique, but it truly does appear to be lost.

People from the Mirror Universe begin disappearing, and as they do, the universe's history changes as well. Regent Worf commands your crew to aid in the investigation. Your crew looks into the matter and finds that the Sphere Builders have begun tinkering with ways to blend the two timelines gradually, which will inevitably wipe out one side or the other. The DTI takes over and puts a stop to this. Your crew can trace the anomaly to the Sphere Builders, but cannot figure out what is happening or how to stop it. They are forced to turn matters over to the DTI and Section 31.

You coax the Insectoid out and get him to see a Starfleet counselor. The Xindi is so frightened and angry though that they charge past you and to an escape pod.
