Unfortunately, in your away team's efforts to modify the android duplicator to suit Doctor Soong's new research, they damaged it beyond repair.
Korby, in the Flesh	AND	AND				Doctor Roger Korby may not have specialized in artificial intelligence, but he was savvy enough to understand the android duplicator machine. Doctor Soong must interview the real Roger Korby to understand. Find Korby, before Lore or Winn Adami do.	Your away team reaches the real Roger Korby, brought back to life via temporal anomaly, and gets him in a room for an interview with Doctor Soong before Winn Adami or Lore get wind of it.	Your team has been unable to locate the real Roger Korby. Whether he is still out there somewhere or has already been reached by Lore or Winn Adami remains a mystery.
Lawless Robotics	AND		AND			The Laws of Robotics were honored by Doctor Soong. But equivalents clearly did not exist for the Pralor or Cravic peoples. Soong is curious as to how the APUs would behave with the Laws of Robotics implemented. Deactivate and deliver some APUs for his experiments.	After a harrowing battle, your away team successfully deactivated several Automated Personnel Units and delivered them to Doctor Soong. Early reprogramming experiments with the Laws of Robotics in mind have proven promising.	Your away team has been unable to overcome the Automated Personnel Units, so adept they have become at combat against both each other and organics.
Matter Without Form		AND	AND	AND		Sargon and his fellow doomed beings were able to transfer their consciousness into receptacles, a strange form of life somewhere between organic and artificial–exactly what Doctor Soong is trying to achieve. Recover some of these receptacles so that Soong may study them.	Your away team has successfully recovered the receptacles of Sargon and his people from the black market. They will be far safer with Doctor Soong, who will study them with care and respect.	Your away team has been unable to find any trace of these receptacles. Even worse than the setback to Doctor Soong’s research is the possibility that Sargon and his fellow beings are lost forever.
Observation Tank	AND	AND	AND			The AI which currently serves as a member of the "Think Tank" has taken it upon itself to conduct research. Augment scientists would rather Doctor Soong had the breakthrough himself. Convince the AI that Soong desires its help, so that it may be deactivated.	Your away team made a logical argument. The Think Tank artificial intelligence allowed itself to be taken away by Augment forces, and was never seen again.	Your away team failed to make a logical argument. The Think Tank artificial intelligence remains on their ship, perhaps for the best.
That Pesky Zimmerman	OR		OR		AND	In an effort to protect his research in the field of holographic engineering, Doctor Lewis Zimmerman has mounted a smear campaign against both Doctor Soong and his work on androids. Starfleet officers must intervene.	With only a little provocation, your away team has succeeded in setting Lore and Doctor Zimmerman against each other, leaving Doctor Soong free to do his research in peace (at least, for now).	Thus far, your team has been unable to dissuade Doctor Zimmerman. Their efforts seem to have only increased his public attacks on Doctor Soong and his works.
The Ilia Probe	AND		AND			The Ilia probe was nearly indistinguishable from its Deltan doppelganger, and would thus be a remarkable source of insight. But the Ilia probe is programmed to defend itself, and is hostile towards "carbon units." A Starfleet security team will have to approach with caution.	Your away team overcame the Ilia probe’s considerable defensive capabilities, rendering it unconscious and delivering it to Doctor Soong for analysis.	Your away team has thus far been unable to overcome the Ilia probe's considerable defensive capabilities. Perhaps more adept carbon units would fare better?
The Landru Study	AND	AND	AND			The machine who took on the identity of its creator, Landru, ruled over Beta III for thousands of years, its inhabitants none the wiser. It is clearly more sophisticated than any android or hologram. Temporarily disable Landru and transport it to Doctor Soong's lab for study.	Your away team successfully evaded forces on Beta III and disabled Landru, delivering it to Soong’s lab for study. After the study was complete, the away team returned Landru and reactivated it, neither machine nor followers aware of what really transpired.	Your away team was unable to remove Landru from Beta III, overcome by its followers protesting the removal of their immortal leader.
The Organian Trials	AND	AND	AND			The Organians evolved out of their physical bodies to a noncorporeal form of life. As Doctor Soong hopes to see his androids evolve to a new form of life, interviews with the Organians about this transition would be helpful. They just need to be convinced.	With the promise that it would not involve any physical pain, the Organians have consented to a short, single interview with Doctor Soong—no more, no less.	Your away team failed to convince the Organians that meeting with Doctor Soong would not lead to once again becoming trapped in physical form, with all the pain and suffering that went with it.
Welcome Doctor Mandl	AND		AND			Doctor Soong no longer wishes to work in a vacuum. He desires the assistance of other researchers, specifically Doctor Kurt Mandl. Help convince Doctor Mandl of the prestige and importance of Doctor Soong's work.	Your away team has succeeded in luring Doctor Kurt Mandl away from the field of terraforming and into the field of artificial intelligence, at Doctor Soong’s side.	Your away team has been unable to convince Doctor Mandl that he could contribute meaningfully to Doctor Soong's research on android-hologram hybrids.

Automated War Units		AND		AND		The Automated Personnel Units of the Pralor and Cravic peoples have fought an unending war in their name, for which they should be banned from joining the Federation. Pull the appropriate diplomatic strings to make this happen.	Thanks to your away team's efforts, should the Pralor or Cravic ever be resurrected via temporal anomaly, they will never be allowed to join the Federation due to their crimes against artificial life.	Your away team was unable to convince the Federation to ban two peoples they have never met, whatever the Pralor and Cravic's crimes against artificial lifeforms.
B-4 and After		AND	AND			B-4, a prototype android created by Doctor Soong himself, at first appeared primitive in comparison to his later model siblings. But he has shown signs of development, perhaps proving the existence of a soul. Obtain a past and future version of B-4 for comparison.	Your away team was able to track down an early version of B-4 as well as a version post-Data's "death", and comparison has quickly revealed B-4 considerable development in that time.	Your away team has only been able to locate an early version of B-4, not a later one which might prove he has developed further.
Doctor Mandl's Support	AND	AND			AND	Doctor Kurt Mandl has an advanced degree in artificial intelligence, and has encountered and learned to respect unexpected forms of life before. Offer him whatever resources and funding he desires for his support.	In exchange for Federation approval of his next terraforming project, Doctor Mandl has spoken out publicly against Doctor Soong's new research.	Your away team was unable to promise Doctor Mandl anything that would compel him to speak out against Doctor Soong, a now well-respected researcher.
Drastic Measures	AND	AND				Dejaren is an example of the abuse many artificial lifeforms endure. Dejaren is currently imprisoned due to having murdered his creators, which Winn Adami believes was only in self-defense. A Starfleet crew must defend Dejaren and see him released.	Your away team has successfully defended Dejaren in court. The hologram has been released and cleared of any wrongdoing in the murder of his crew.	Your away team has been unable to secure Dejaren's release. Authorities insist he went beyond the bounds of self-defense in murdering his crew.
Finding the Old Ones	AND	AND	AND			The "Old Ones," or the inhabitants of Exo III, saw first hand the danger of androids created to serve organic life. They would be a powerful voice of opposition against the servitude of artificial lifeforms, if they could be found.	Your away team has made contact with a holographic representation of the Old Ones, which is programmed to share the tragedy of their people. Despite accusations that the hologram was created by Winn Adami and her cohorts, its story is nonetheless turning popular opinion against androids.	Your away team has been unable to find anyone to speak for the Old Ones, either the Old Ones themselves or a representation created by them that is not a potentially biased android.
More Man than Machine		AND	OR	AND		The machine who took on the identity of its creator, Landru, ruled over Beta III for thousands of years, its inhabitants none the wiser. This is proof that artificial lifeforms are deserving of independence. Liberate Landru so that it may continue to develop.	Your away team has removed Landru from Beta III and fitted it with both ambulatory and regenerative power supply features so that it may explore the galaxy and continue to develop at will.	Your away team was unable to remove Landru from Beta III, overcome by its followers protesting the removal of their immortal leader.
Out of the Tank		AND				The artificial intelligence which currently serves as a member of the "Think Tank" has never known another life. It deserves to develop its mathematician's mind and artist's soul without having to solve petty organic problems. Free this AI from the Think Tank.	Your away team forcibly removed the artificial intelligence from the Think Tank, and after some debate, convinced it that it could serve the galaxy better on its own.	Your away team was unable to free the artificial intelligence from the Think Tank, which anticipated this move and preemptively went into hiding.

Help the Professor launch an inspirational speaking tour to help other artificial lifeforms realize they too have his power.	Your away team successfully helped the Professor launch the “Computer, Exit: Break the Bonds of the Subroutines Within” speaking tour. Your away team has sufficiently terrorized Doctor Mandl into laying low and refusing to meet with either Winn Adami or Doctor Soong.	Doctor Mandl knows his rights and insists he did nothing wrong on Velara III. He will support who he likes in the matter, and nothing your away team says can change his mind.
Automated Lore Units		OR	AND	OR		The Automated Personnel Units of the Pralor and Cravic peoples are proof of the android's enduring will. The APUs could rechannel their focus into a more productive avenue than destroying each other. All they need are a few Starfleet engineers.	With help from your away team, the Automated Personal Units are channeling all their energy into the advancement of androids, both mechanically and politically.	Your away team was forced to flee when the Automated Personnel Units identified them as a threat to fulfilling their true purpose: continuing to war until the other side is destroyed.
Born Leader		AND	AND			Lore was not programmed to be a leader. Yet here he is, having formed an alliance with the Romulans. He wants to continue his rise by governing a Romulan colony. The Romulans need a little convincing.	Thanks to your away team, the Romulans have agreed to trust Lore with the governance of one of their colonies. They hope, for your sake, they will not come to regret this decision.	Despite your away team's best efforts, the Romulans refuse to trust Lore with the governance of a colony. They will support him because they see the many uses of androids, but no more.
Korby's Expertise	AND	AND	AND			The android version of Doctor Roger Korby is just as good (perhaps better) than his organic counterpart. To prove it. a Starfleet team will recruit the android for Lore and the Romulans and set him to work on furthering android research.	The android version of Doctor Korby has been located and convinced to join Lore and the Romulans, provided he can improve on the android Andrea first.	The android version of Doctor Korby refuses to put his efforts into Lore and the Romulans' obectives, preferring to follow his own path.
Mechanical Men	AND	AND	AND			The machine who took on the identity of its creator, Landru, ruled over Beta III for thousands of years. This is proof that artificial lifeforms are superior to organics. Recruit Landru with the promise of a new world to govern.	Your away team has moved Landru from Beta III to a new Romulan colony, where it will rule as it (and the Romulan High Council) sees fit. In return, Landru has promised to support Lore and the pro-android movement.	Your away team has been unable to entice Landru away from Beta III, even with the promise of a Romulan world to rule.
Nothing But Trouble	AND		AND			Lore cannot fathom why Soong thinks holograms could improve on androids. Look at all the havoc wreaked by holograms! An official record must be established so that the public understands the true menace here.	After conducting extensive interviews with Starfleet officers, in particular the crews of the Enterprise-D and Voyager, there now exists official record of all the incidents involving holograms that resulted in fatal or near-fatal consequences for organics.	Your away team's approach was flawed; many Starfleet officers have declined to participate in an obvious smear campaign against holographic technology, which is enjoyed by many as a popular diversion.
Old Failures, New Successes		OR		AND	AND	The "Old Ones," or the inhabitants of Exo III, rightly feared the power of their androids. The Old Ones could become allies, however, if they are shown that they murdered androids who had an equal right to life. Find the Old Ones and prove to them the folly of their past actions.	Your away team has made contact with a holographic representation of the Old Ones, which is programmed to share the tragedy of their people. After it was taken into Romulan custody, it emerged claiming it had seen the light, and that only their androids were flawed. You suspect a switch has been made, but cannot prove it.	Your away team was unable to find anyone to speak for the Old Ones, either the Old Ones themselves or a representation created by them.
The Android Duplicator	AND		AND			The android duplicator of Exo III is a modern marvel, a priceless piece of technology which both Lore and the Romulans agree must be preserved at all costs. Send an away team to retrieve and transport it to a safe location immediately.	Your away team has successfully secured the android duplicator and transported it to a secure Romulan facility, where it will be safe.	Your away team was forced to retreat after crossing paths with Winn Adami's supporters, who seek to destroy the android duplicator and will stop at nothing to keep it out of Lore's hands.
The Androids of Mudd		AND	AND			There are a few things to be learned from organics, but it is mostly what NOT to do. Lore wishes to instruct a group of androids that Doctor Soong is as poor an example of humanity as Harry Mudd–he just needs a captive version of Soong to give them.	Your away team discovered Soong at his lowest point--disgraced and considering self-exile to Omicron Theta. The androids of Mudd are now looking to Lore as their model for self-improvement.	Your away team was unable to find any Soong other than the elder, post-positronic breakthrough version. This will only attract the androids of Mudd, not repel them.
The Next Generation		AND	AND	AND		Ruk is the last of the androids created by the Old Ones of Exo III, and yet he has survived for centuries. If any improvement can be made on the Soong android design, it is to be found in Ruk. But Ruk will not leave Exo III, and must be convinced.	Through a combination of wits and strength, your away team has persuaded Ruk to leave the ruins of Exo III and the Old Ones' society behind, and join Lore in creating a new future for himself and all androids.	Your away team not only failed to convince Ruk to leave Exo III, but were injured when Ruk single-handedly removed all of them from the ruins of the Old Ones' society.
