28 Red Shirts Later... was founded in the summer of 2018 (Old Earth Calendar) by: Admiral Rage deMore (UFP, Retired).
We are a high ranking fleet full of active and laid-back players who recognize... people have lives. Lower level players are encouraged and guided so that they may succeed and advance; however, we also recognize advanced players have different needs as the heuristics of game play evolves. In short, your strategy changes as you get better, and we'd like to help you spot Ferengi Opportunities for Exploitation.
Fleet Colors
28 Red Shirts Later... flies a crimson red flag fading to a field of black. It is emblazoned with the fleet name and a Command Insignia from the Engineering Division of the historic starship Enterprise (NCC-1701) in honor of the practical applications of data science notably employed by Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott. The red color signifies the blood of the countless dead not the color of the uniform (although we're not all Homo sapiens sapiens: iron-enriched oxygenated blood is common), while the black signifies the vacuous dark of the extra-Solar expanses in which those who served Starfleet have perished.
n.b. Data science has demonstrated more blue shirts died in TOS than gold or red. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!
