A damaged shuttle full of crew members in Starfleet uniforms has asked to come aboard the Discovery, claiming they're here to help. Verify the newcomers' identities before welcoming them aboard.
The newcomers gave names from Starfleet records, but the away team found that none of their faces matched the pictures on record. Their plan thwarted, the disguised Augments fled with their shuttle.
When the names the shuttle's passengers gave matched Starfleet records, the away team allowed them aboard, only to discover they were Augments in disguise when they attacked! The Discovery suffered several casualties before they were captured.

Having led his brothers and sisters in attacks against the Discovery, Raakin has detailed, personal knowledge of the Augments' defenses. Help the Discovery's crew capture him and learn what he knows.
The away team led a feinted strike against an Augment settlement, drawing Raakin and other warriors into an ambush. Captain Lorca has promised to treat him fairly, but he hopes Raakin will have valuable intel.
The away team led a weak attack against an Augment settlement, hoping to draw Raakin out, but he recognized the feint for what it was. None of the settlements' defenders emerged from behind its walls.

As one ship against many, the Discovery has to escape without pursuit after each fight with the Augments. Send a shuttle to lay a false warp trail away from the site of their last battle.
The away team manually created subspace distortions to mimic the passage of the Discovery's warp drive. After masking their own warp signature, they left the site of the battle without attracting Augment attention.
Rather than following the away team's false trail mimicking the Discovery's warp drive, the next Augment ships to arrive followed the away team's own warp trail. They barely avoided capture.

Captain Lorca plans to sabotage the Augments' facilities aboard Regula I, but his crew needs to know its layout. Admiral Forrest refused his request for Starfleet schematics, but an away team may have better luck.
The away team eventually overcame Forrest's reluctance to help the Discovery, reminding him of just how much danger the Augments have historically posed to the Federation. He promises to send Regula I's schematics to Lorca.

One of the Discovery's shuttles never returned from a reconnaissance mission to the Augment-occupied Starbase 12, and Lorca fears the crew was captured. Send an away team to locate the missing shuttle.
The away team found the missing shuttle adrift and damaged, clear indications that the crew had been captured. They entered Starbase 12 in disguise and freed several prisoners, including the missing Discovery crew members.
The away team found the Discovery's missing shuttle adrift near Starbase 12, but the crew was nowhere to be seen. Lorca has declared them missing in action, another casualty of this conflict with the Augments.

Fighting the Augments has taken a toll on the Discovery's crew, many of whom are struggling to relax between battles. Vic Fontaine has offered to entertain them if you can take him to the beleaguered Discovery.
The away team narrowly avoided several Augment patrols on their way to the Discovery's last known coordinates. The crew welcomes Vic with open arms, and his performances have noticeably improved morale.
After two close encounters with hostile Augment ships, Vic asked the team to turn around. Even holograms don't want to lose their lives, and he does not trust the away team to get him to the Discovery.

Several Ferengi Traditionalist traders have long-standing agreements with the Augments. Give them an incentive to sell some of those supplies to the Discovery, which has no base to restock from in this sector.
The away team reminded the Ferengi traders of the 17th Rule of Acquisition: "A contract is a contract, but only between Ferengi." As long as the Discovery can pay, they'll sell the crew some supplies meant for the Augments.
The away team told the Ferengi traders that they were missing a profitable opportunity to sell supplies to the Discovery, but they decided that the risk of Augment retaliation outweighed the potential rewards.

Though Doctor Jeremy Lucas once lost Cold Station 12 to the Augments, Captain Lorca wants his medical expertise on the Discovery's side. Lucas will need convincing to join the fight without Starfleet orders, however.
The away team reminds Lucas that, orders or no, a Starfleet doctor cannot stand by when a Starfleet crew is hurt. He agrees to treat the Discovery's wounded, though he insists he'll have no part in any offensives.
The away team's assessment of the Augments as a threat remind Lucas all too well of his own encounters with them. Between Starfleet orders and basic self-preservation, he refuses to leave with the Discovery.

After many battles with Augment ships, the Discovery is nearly out of photon torpedoes. Captain Lorca needs an away team to acquire some from an Augment base without being detected.
The away team bypassed the shields of an Augment base, allowing the Discovery to beam several dozen torpedoes out of the armory. It's not much, but it's enough for the crew to continue the fight.
The away team's approach was quickly noticed by the Augments guarding the base. They escaped back to the Discovery, but were unable to provide the photon torpedoes the crew desperately needs for their fight.

The Discovery may have few allies in its current fight, but the Augments have their fair share of enemies, including the Klingon Empire. Send an away team to ask the High Council to join in the fight.
The away team's rousing speech reminded the Klingon High Council of the shame of the Augment virus and the dangers Khan's current empire poses. The Council unanimously voted to assist the Discovery.
After the away team's speech, some members of the Klingon High Council are interested in fighting the Augments, but they fear that supporting Lorca's rogue actions would threaten their alliance with the Federation.
