Enemies to Allies: Augment

Distinctiveness		AND	AND			A few Augments have considered joining the other Collective. But Khan rejects the idea of the Borg having Augments, who he considers superior, in their midst. Neither side seems ready to budge. Intervene before these two powerhouses go head to head.	Your away team sells Khan on the idea by convincing him that the Borg have as much to offer Augments as they do the Borg.	All attempts at convincing Khan fail, and he even goes so far as to suggest he will eliminate any Augment who attempts to join.
Far-Reaching Implications	AND	AND	AND			Khan and many other Augments insist that if the Federation were to accept the Borg, they would need to reconsider their stance on augmentation and genetic modification. Investigate the potential implications.	Your team investigates the issue from both a scientific and ethical viewpoint. They poll Federation citizens and Starfleet scientists alike. Since many are still hesitant, the Federation agrees to create a committee for further consideration.	The issue is such a sensitive topic that even bringing it up proves to be a non-starter for many in the Federation.
Incompatibility			OR	OR		A pair of Augments who volunteered to join Jurati's Collective have been left in critical condition after a failed attempt at assimilation. Investigate the cause.	Despite the nanoprobes' rapid healing capabilities, they were a mismatch with some of the modifications they Augments had. After confirming their will to join, you help with modifications that allow the nanoprobes to do their job without killing them.	Your away team is unable to determine the cause and both would-be drones worsen.
Living Record			AND	AND		A vessel from the destroyed world has been located just outside the Neutral Zone. Recover it before the Romulans destroy it.	Your away team recovers the vessel safely and finds her crew inside, suspended in cryostasis. Even after reviving them, their memories are hazy about what happened on the planet's surface.	Your away team is unable to retrieve the vessel before it is intercepted by Romulans.
Overpowered	AND	AND	AND			Khan is displeased with the idea of the Borg joining the Federation, as he feels the access to the Collective and its member species would give the UFP too much power, even threatening open hostilities. Intervene before things turn violent.	Your away team takes a group of delegates and manages to ease Khan's concerns. They remind him this Collective is smaller. Though he backs down for now, he assures the Federation he will be keeping a close eye on things.	Your away team is unable to assuage Khan's concerns.
Resource Reservations	AND	AND	AND			Joachim enlists your help tracking down augmentation technology that was stolen from a freighter traveling through the R'ongivian Protectorate in the Beta Quadrant.	Your away team manages to track down and recover the equipment, being sold at an outpost near the Protectorate's boundaries. They confirm the original thief was from the destroyed planet.	Your away team is unable to locate and recover the stolen technology.
The Worst of Both Worlds		AND		AND		A scientist infamous for taking ethics as seriously as superstition has stolen Borg nanoprobes as well as Augment technology in the hopes of creating a technology that can enter a body undetected and seize control of its host. Stop him!	Your away team apprehends the scientist and brings him in for theft. Khan and the Queen both also intend to hold him to account for violating tenets of their respective factions.	Your away team is unable to track down the scientist.
We Interrupt This Programming			AND	AND		Like the original Collective, this new one also has access to a great deal of information gleaned from its drones. A group of Augments have copied this data and are attempting to access it - only for the program to seize control of their ship!	After finally being able to retake control of the ship, your away team is able to condense the data into a program accessible in (and confined to) the holodeck.	While attempting to regain control of the ship, your away team is attacked by nanoprobes the ship's computer ordered all replicators to craft.

Collective Conundrum	OR		OR			The long unknown Borg contingent has raised many questions. Jurati asks for your help in separating the actions of her Collective and the Prime Collective.	SUCCESS TEXT	Try as they might, your away team is struggling to say for sure which Borg actions were those of Jurati's Borg and those of the primary Collective.
Collective Wisdom	AND			AND		A strange blight is sweeping farms in several Maquis colonies. Jurati offers the Collective's knowledge, but she is rebuffed. Connect those in need with the knowledge that might save them.	SUCCESS TEXT	Despite your insistence on the help she can provide, the Maquis refuse to allow Jurati or the Borg anywhere near their colonies.
Collectively Unique	AND	AND	AND			Jurati and the Queen propose one method of proving their non-involvement in events within the Protectorate - by having the Collective assessed for any R'ongovians or other member species. Conduct the assessment in a matter that is unbiased.	Your team helps establish a quick way of testing the origins of members of the Collective with the Borg Queen and other interested parties present. As Jurati said, they find no hints of anyone from the Protectorate.	Your away team performs their own assessment, but they are accused of falsifying the results.
Path to Vindication		AND		AND		A Starfleet vessel has disappeared inside a dense asteroid field. Jurati insists her Borg have experience navigating that field, but many are hesitant to have the Borg involved. Help retrieve the missing vessel.	SUCCESS TEXT	The vehement insistence that the Borg not be involved wastes precious time that could be spent finding the missing ship and her crew.
Political Distinctiveness		AND	AND			The Borg Queen argues that the Collective's diverse network of drones from many different civilizations can be an asset to the Federation, but that suggestion only kindles more anger. Mediate the discussion on both sides.	SUCCESS TEXT	All attempts to support the Queen's argument are met with outrage by those who lost loved ones to the Borg and have no interest in distinguishing between Collectives.
The Butterfly Collective	AND		AND			A group of Borg calling themselves Orphan Drones come to confront Jurati and the Queen. The blame the duo for their current state - assimilated but disconnected. Investigate.	SUCCESS TEXT	While your investigation is inconclusive, it raises some concerning questions about Jurati's Collective, its impacts on time, and even what their real motivation is.
The Need to Connect	AND	AND	AND			The Prime Collective reaches out to Jurati's Collective with a unique offer: connect the two Collectives and unite the Borg. Though the Queen is desperate to reconnect, Jurati is desperate to remain apart. She asks for your intervention.	SUCCESS TEXT	Your away team is unable to provide any useful solutions. The turmoil threatens to tear Jurati's Collective apart.
To Guard the Future	AND	AND	AND			Jurati has made efforts to put the Collective's knowledge to good use. Her Collective has also expanded their technology. She offers you schematics for upgrades to navigational equipment, provided you can manage them AND ease concerns over their use.	SUCCESS TEXT	Your away team is unable to safely implement the upgrades, leaving some in Starfleet to believe they were purposely faulty to begin with.

If They Stay	AND		AND			Multiple species that the Federation has made recent first or second contact with are threatening to break ties with the Borg. Is choosing one or the other truly the only way?	SUCCESS TEXT	Your attempts to persuade concerned delegates only serve to anger them further, as they feel they are being appeased rather than truly heard.
Outdated Models	AND	AND	AND			A century-old Starfleet ship is found on an uninhabited planet. Her crew long dead, the only clues to what happened are locked inside outdated tech. Jurati offers to help, but Starfleet is reluctant, as that data is confidential. Intervene.	SUCCESS TEXT	Your away team is unable to convince Starfleet.
Shrouded in Secrecy	AND	AND	AND			There is little information on the world that was said to have been destroyed by the Borg. This lack of information has aroused suspicion and even caused tension with the R'ongivians. Investigate.	SUCCESS TEXT	Your away team is unable to gather any information. What they do find is rife with redactions.
Sinister Designs	AND	AND	AND			As your team investigates data from the area of the R'ongivian Protectorate leading up to the destruction of the planet, you identify activity from Romulan vessels. Investigate their potential involvement.	SUCCESS TEXT	The Romulans are so furious you would even suggest they might somehow have been involved that they refuse to speak with you further and hint at possible retaliation if you get too close to the Neutral Zone.
Strategic Spaces	AND			AND		The world said to be destroyed by the Borg is within the R'ongovian Protectorate and thus, between Romulan and Klingon space. This raises suspicions that a Borg attack may have been in the cards. Investigate.	SUCCESS TEXT	Your away team is unable to prove or disprove Borg interference. Hostilities against Jurati's Borg only continue to increase.
Temporal Turmoil	OR				OR	The presence of Jurati's Collective complicates the longtime understanding of the Borg and their role in history. Investigate and separate the histories of the two Collectives.	SUCCESS TEXT	Any attempts to separate the history of the two Collectives yields more questions than answers.
The Darkest Corners	AND			AND		Jurati has a request on behalf of a member of her Collective - their homeworld is being bled dry by miners taking more than the planet can support. The UFP is unwilling to get openly involved. Investigate and intervene clandestinely.	SUCCESS TEXT	Any attempts to investigate the mining operation are met with open hostility. Your away team is forced to retreat.
