Diplomacy The Terrans, many recently escaping enslavement thanks to the Rebellion, are pushing for some sort of military studies program, seeing the school as the place to train future soldiers. Other factions aren't pleased with this. Reach a compromise. Your crew tries to strike a balance between the Terrans pushing to seed a military through the school and the external factions fearing another brutal Terran era. Military theory seems a fair compromise, but many Terrans will not let the idea go. DIALOGUE FAIL

Command Diplomacy Emperor Georgiou storms into Emperor Spock's audience hall, furious at the way she and other Terran rulers are being depicted by Spock in the proposed education materials. Help Keiko to find a happy medium. While Keiko is worried about what glorifying the Empire's more violent rulers could do, your away team strikes a balance and writes a history that, while Georgiou is still angry, it does get her to back down... for now. DIALOGUE FAIL
Firm But Fair Medicine Diplomacy
AND
Command
Command Diplomacy One of the most contested issues at the new school is discipline. Many push for a return to the old ways, while those who were held as slaves or suffered for the Empire's harsher elements see it as abuse. Travel the planet and collect public opinion. Your away team travels the planet. Though people are reluctant at first, they eventually open up and share their thoughts and opinions, providing you with more than enough input to take back to Keiko. DIALOGUE FAIL

Medicine Science Security Emperor Spock pushes for a university to educate current Terrans as well as future ones. Many top Terran minds see this as a chance to advance research, despite the moral cost, and are abducting living specimens for the cause. Your crew intervenes, retrieving the "living specimens" the Terran researchers were collecting in the name of science. It is also made clear that they are under close scrutiny and such immoral research activities will not be tolerated. Your crew attempts to intervene, but the Terran researchers refuse to admit any wrongdoing. You are unable to locate these specimens, who may not even be "living" anymore.

Keiko has asserted the importance of teaching Terran children about the past so it is not repeated. Smiley O'Brien tasks you and your crew with recovering the many historical documents (or their remnants) that were scattered during the rebellion. Your crew searches throughout the Earth of the mirror universe. Though many historical documents and articles were destroyed, you manage to collect several items. Your crew searches high and low for any historical documents, remnants, or artifacts, but they prove difficult to find. It is obvious that in the throes of conflict, there were many who wanted every trace of the Terrans gone.

Diplomacy Command Security Several vessels bringing building resources for the school are attacked in transit. Unsure of the origin of the attacks, Keiko reaches out to Starfleet to send an outstanding crew to provide security. Providing an escort to the delivery vessels, your away team fends off an attack from a Klingon-Cardassian Alliance vessel, intent on preventing the construction of the school. Your crew provides security to the delivery vessels, but one of the vessels is attacked en route to Earth. While you ultimately save the crew, the cargo is destroyed.

Keiko wishes to get the input of parents throughout the Terran sphere of influence about what they want taught, but she is busy with the construction of the school and so asks your crew to travel and gather the honest opinions of Terran parents. Your crew travels around the mirror Earth and beyond to other Terran territories. While many parents are reluctant to speak to Starfleet officers and crew, you do manage to get quite a bit of valuable feedback to take back to Keiko. DIALOGUE FAIL

He asks for your help in protecting the construction site from saboteurs. Your security team casts a watchful eye over the construction site, stopping and interrogating any suspicious parties. They manage to prevent a group of rebels from bombing the building. Your security team is on hand to help watch over the school in progress, but they are overwhelmed by the number of people on site. A Klingon attacks two construction workers before being taken down by a Terran guard.

Command Diplomacy Several members of the Federation push for the school to teach about other cultures that are members of the UFP, but who were oppressed by the Empire. They hope to improve acceptance, but there is a lot of resistance from the Terran people. Your crew attempts to persuade the Terrans, but they are caught up in prejudice. You work with Keiko and find ways to introduce these cultures into the curriculum, in the hopes of sparking curiosity and eventual acceptance in the next generation. Your crew attempts to persuade the Terrans, but is unsuccessful. Keiko, still nervous about the future of the school, is also unwilling to push the envelope and add such topics to the curriculum.

Security Command Prime Miles O'Brien, now a professor of engineering at the Academy, was asked to send over teaching materials for an engineering course for older students. He also sends sample schematics of older ships, but they are stolen. Recover the schematics. Your away team tracks down the schematics in the possession of a group that seeks to rebuild the Terran Empire and bring it back to its former glory. You retrieve the schematics. Your away team tries to piece together details of the theft to track down the culprit, but is unable to find them or the schematics.

You and your crew decide to help Data out. Your crew works with him on public speaking, while also remaining on-hand to ensure security does not become an issue when one too many Terrans becomes bored. You and your crew attempt to help Data with his public speaking. But your efforts prove to be futile when his speech bores the Terran audience into riots.

However, before your crew can pick the PADDs up for delivery, they are stolen! Find the culprits. Your crew locates the PADDs in the hands of an anti-Terran group who believe that having access to Federation scientific materials would only enable the Terrans to build horrific bioweapons. Your crew retrieves the PADDs. Your away team finds the PADDs in the hands of an assembled anti-Terran cell. However, your crew is quickly outnumbered and must retreat. The educators show no fear, intent on going to the Mirror Earth despite the ordeal. Your crew locates the ship carrying the abductees but there are many injuries during the attempt to rescue them. It takes a bit of diplomacy and some finesse on the field, but your crew, along with Sisko, beat the Terran coaches in a game of baseball the old-fashioned way, showing them how a fair victory can be just as satisfying. Your crew's lack of charisma and lack of skill on the field frustrate Sisko and the Terrans win, scoffing about how they barely had to cheat, but they still feel the point was proven. Cheaters always prosper.

Diplomacy Tora Ziyal expresses a desire for the Terran school to have a strong arts education, something she feels is lacking on Cardassia. However, much of the mirror Earth's art and cultural heritage has been destroyed. Help establish a new foundation. Tora Ziyal even contributes paintings to be hung in the school. DIALOGUE FAIL

Diplomacy A wave of dissent is sweeping through the Terran population now that news of Cardassian influence on their new education system spread. Gul Dukat has requested that you help him spread some positive PR. Your crew researches and spreads the positive aspects of the Cardassian education system among the Terran people. While the Terrans still have their doubts thanks to their history with the KCA, your crew has at least blunted the harshest criticisms. Your crew attempts to research and spread the positive aspects of the Cardassian education system, but the bitterness toward the Cardassians due to the Terrans' history with the KCA prevents any of those points from making a difference.

Command Diplomacy Gul Beneel makes a speech on Cardassia. If "education is power," why should the Cardassians be helping the hostile Terrans rebuild their school instead of focusing on Cardassia itself? He incites dissension and it could get ugly if not under control. Your crew attempts to ease Beneel's concerns (and those of the Cardassians) by presenting the advantages of a more educated, hopefully more civilized, Terran populace. Your crew attempts to ease the worries of the Cardassian people, but they have no interest in listening to the words of a bunch of Starfleet "flunkies".

Security The Cardassians are outraged when they see how their mirror counterparts are to be depicted in Terran educational materials. To make matters worse, they involve the KCA. It looks like matters could turn violent if Starfleet doesn't intervene. Your crew covertly increases security around the site of the school's construction, then mediates the debate between the Cardassians and the Terrans. Though tempers flare, they manage to get the Cardassians to agree to leave the KCA out of this. Your crew attempts to intervene in the conflict between the Terrans and the Cardassians, but talks are disrupted when it is learned that KCA operatives have shown up at the school's construction site. The seeds of distrust are sown even further.

You have Natima give a speech of her own and her charisma wins the Terrans over. Your away team attempts to persuade the Terrans that this isn't some play at indoctrination, but trust is in short supply among the remnants of the Empire. The Cardassians are furious at the accusations. Investigate the matter and mediate a solution. Your away team investigates the matter but cannot prove either side right. The compromise is that Starfleet will provide additional security, an idea which does not sit well with the Cardassians. Your away team investigates the matter but cannot prove either side right. They attempt to strike a compromise, but the matter infuriates both sides so much that it seems cooperation between the two cannot continue.

Your crew tries to convince the Terrans to expand their reading list, but it is to no avail.
