Marking Edits as "minor"

Hi, I noticed you are marking all your edits as minor edits. Please do not do that. Minor edits are for edits that are very small, usually a syntactical change on the page, not adding or changing information. Please unset the preference if it is set in your Preferences to mark all changes as minor. Thanks, Titantalk 20:38, 29 March 2018 (CDT)

Bartender Guinan

Hi, I noticed you fixed a few things on Bartender Guinans page. This is appreciated, however posting about bugs on the wiki using pre formatted boxes in the trivia section is not the proper way to say what you changed. Just leave a message in the summary box below the content box. If it is a bug that was in game, then yes, add it to the trivia section, but under a new bullet point (any bugs fixed on a single day by DB can be contained under 1 bullet). I’m not sure in this instance, so I removed the info. Please re-add if this is the case using the method above. Thanks Titantalk 01:35, 10 April 2018 (CDT)

Item Page Edits

Hey, It would be appreciated if you didn't add {{item|UNKNOWN|#}} to the "craft into" section of the crafting tables. It's not necessary to say, "it might be crafted into something else, maybe." Also, please don't delete any unused parameters for rarities that don't currently exist. DB had added other rarities in the past and it's easier to edit those pages when those parameters are on the page. Thanks.--Siguard (talk) 15:16, 27 April 2018 (CDT)

Hey, will you also not use {{PAGENAME}} on any item pages, it causes issues with the itemX template pages adding Wanted Pages. Thanks, Titantalk 22:12, 27 April 2018 (CDT)

I thought Siguard had addressed it in his comments right above this, but reading it back I see he didn't. It is related to what he said, though: we've been undoing when you collapse the rarity and Craft sections down to one line each. That doesn't really help anything, but makes it harder to read and edit when rarities get added. Middlehead (talk) 22:49, 16 May 2018 (CDT)

Events not increasing on Main Page count or Total Events

I have been added Events to the Calendar & Mega pages for months, & just noticed that Kosst Kejal & events after that are not on the Category:Events Page & are not being counted as Events. I looked through The Isthmian Games 2 (the last Events listed on Category:Events) to see if I missed a flag that would count Kosst Kejal but no dice. If I can add events I'd like to continue doing so, but I can't seem to find what keeps the count going.

You didn't miss anything, you're doing it right. The pages you're editing are more useful than the Category pages anyway, since they're ordered and show more than just the name. The problem with the counter is actually the same problem happening with all Category pages - there's a known bug with the version of MediaWiki the site's on that stops new pages from being added to Category collections. The week between Isthmian 2 and Kosst must be when the bug started here. Titan knows about the problem, but he said it's going to be a long and risky upgrade - as long as the event pages themselves (like Kosst Kejal and The Isthmian Games 2) get the Category:Events tag on them, it should all catch up when he's able to do it.

Double Check of Dilemma Edit

Dilemma Friends in Need Choice B actually gave me a 2* Crew - I tripple-checked that before making the edit, might have been a bug but it actually happened, player8472 (talk) 22:07, 16 March 2020 (UTC)

New Life and New Civilizations collection expansion

Those call the same template as is used for event Threshold rewards, it's a limit in that. I looked at it a while back when one of the newer themed Collections had more than 5 items in a tier, but it wasn't something I was comfortable editing yet. Siguard's been popping in occasionally again, he's probably the best prepared to update something like that. Until that can get updated, the simplest thing is to add another reward row below it with the same tier value, I just did that for NL/NC Middlehead (talk) 16:11, 31 March 2020 (CDT)

Fixed this, added support for E/F rewards (up to 6 rewards now) for cryostasis. Titantalk 02:44, 6 April 2020 (CDT)

Groom Worf min/max difference

Hi Joesage,

I notice that you keep changing my entry for level one's min/max bonus. Groom Worf#Away Team Skills's Away Team skills at Level 1 is 44 - 29 as per the game, hence why I changed it. Why you keep changing it back is beyond my comprehension? If you need proof with a screenshot, I shall send it to you.

Maybe the other levels are now wrong as well.

I know my input is correct. Please do not change again, otherwise I will have to refer to User:Titan on this issue.

Hi Captian Spirk,
I thought it messed up the Average Calculation & I only changed it with my 3* edits; Revision as of 12:56, 27 July 2020 MORAG DART (fix min skills and max skills: the higher value is max and the lower is min) also put them in the wrong order. I quit. Joesage2 (talk) 10:03, 2 August 2020 (CDT)
Just going to toss my opinion here. Yes, the wiki should normally match the game. However, when the game obviously has a bug, the ideal thing would be to add the information "correctly" (i.e. 29-44, NOT 44-29) and just put a reference below that says the game has it backwards. Most likely it will be fixed in-game, then the reference can be removed. And yes, it might mess up average calculations, so it probably is a good idea to always enter min as the lower value and max as the bigger value (not to mention otherwise doesnt make sense).
tldr; Always MIN = smaller value, MAX = larger value (MIN = 29, MAX = 44). Titantalk 02:27, 4 August 2020 (CDT)
Hi Titan,
So, should I just leave the figures as is, and put in comments that says there is a bug on the game? Should I have deleted Joe's other figures or left it as is?
Sorry about the misunderstanding User:Joesage2.

I just added support to {{Crew Page ATS Table}} for a new parameter: | REFERENCE=reference text (optional). I added an example of how to use it on the template page (see bottom of page). I also went ahead and added a reference to the above page, it will just need to be removed if/when they fix the issue. Titantalk 14:37, 6 August 2020 (CDT)
